About me

I grew up in Cobb County wanting to be an attorney my entire life. I made that dream happen by first attending the University of Georgia where I received my Finance degree. Then, I immediately went to law school where I graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law, cum laude. I've heard it said that I am a "double dawg" because I have two degrees from UGA.

I love what I do, and anyone who talks to me will see that immediately. I teach at Chattahoochee Tech, and my students tell me it is obvious that I could talk about these areas of law all day long and never get tired of it. I love helping people plan for their future with a well drafted, well thought-out Estate Plan. I often help people who are greiving their loved ones in my probate practice. Helping someone organize and manage their loved ones' financial affairs is a major part of the enjoyment I receive from my work.

Lastly, I often represent those persons who have mental illness or other incapacities to navigate the adult guardianship process. I also help families take care of their loved ones who are mentally incapacitated for any reason. It is a difficult area of law to practice, but I love what I do and I get much fulfillment from it. My goal is to always make people feel better when they leave my office than when they entered my office that day.
