Good customer service for a difficult decision.

I hired Atty Jackson to handle my divorce. Her honest and recommendation for me to work out the property agreement with my husband helped make a difficult decision easier. Additionally her assistant Danni is awesome, very thorough, and responsive to your concerns. My divorce was final in less than 3 ...months.

Divorce Made Easy

Sharon Jackson is an amazing lawyer. I hired her to help me with a somewhat troublesome divorce. I had become a single dad and was dealing with a soon to be ex who coming unhinged. I consulted Sharon and her main concern was the well being of my 16 year old daughter whom I had main custody of. Attorn...ey Jackson met with us and laid out next steps. She called when she said she would and her fees were simple and easy. She also worked with me on a payment plan. Sharon made me aware of everything upfront so that I wouldn't have to keep calling and she advised that those calls can become costly as they are billed. My ex-wife couldn't afford an attorney and Attorney Jackson was even gracious enough to advise her on a few options and designed a divorce that was fair and equal. She even took several calls and emails from my ex. Attorney Sharon Jackson is the definitely the Counselor you want in your corner.

Extremely Disappointed

Attorney Jackson proved to be highly unprofessional and I would not recommend her at all. I paid her a 500 deposit to help me enforce my divorce decree. I had a delay in moving forward due to an unexpected medical situation. I emailed her to explain my situation and my first red flag was when she did... not respond to my inquiries in a timely manner. When I asked her why she never responded she replied in a rude and abrupt manner- that was my second red flag. I came in for a second consultation so that we could move forward with the case and she had me waiting in the lobby for 15 minutes while she was on a personal call, never even greeting me. When I finally got her attention she claimed she didn't know I was there even though she has a bell on her door, knew I had an appointment, and has staff that saw me sitting there. Mind you I was sitting across from the reception desk where she was talking on the phone! She didn't have me divorce decree in front of her, and was totally unprepared for my visit. She dropped me as her client via email stating that she had too many cases. When I asked for my deposit back she refused, stating that the work she did compensated for the money I gave her. Mind you I only met with her twice for a short period of time. I requested receipts of all the supposed work she did and months later I have still not received anything. When I called her out on taking my money and bailing she accused me of being rude to her and her staff which is false. I hardly had any interaction with her staff and I was certainly never rude to anyone. She basically needed an excuse for taking advantage of me. I honestly think she treated me this way because I am a poor, single mother and she feels I am not worthy of her time. This experience was highly disturbing and now I am clean out of 500 dollars with nothing to show for it. Shame on Sharon Jackson for unethical practices!
