A strong and tenacious advocate for clients.
I have been a trial lawyer for the past 19 years advocating on behalf of people facing some of the most challenging times of their lives. I treat my clients, first and foremost, the way that I would like to be treated.
My initial consultations often go significantly over an hour because I think it is rude and insensitive to be looking at a clock when people are baring their souls to you about difficult situations.
I work hard to work out a reasonable settlement of my clients' issues, if at all possible, but if I am unable to amicably reach a resulution out of Court, I have absolutely no problem suiting up and wading in to trial to fight for my clients.
I give 110 percent as I would expect nothing less from a person I was paying to represent me.

I have had the opportunity to both litigate domestic custody matters against Mr. Riddick and work with him as a guardian ad litem in a contested custody matter. As a domestic attorney, he is one of the few I know who brings to his advocacy both a high level of care and conscientiousness for his clients and their objectives and the formidable trial skills it takes to help them realize those objectives. He comes to court prepared and knows that the best way to achieve a settlement is to be prepared to try your client's case. As a guardian ad litem, I can state unequivocally that he was diligent in his research, talking to all parties who had facts to share, and he used this information and the credibility he built with both sides not only to form the basis of his report but to forge a consensus that allowed the parties to reach an amicable settlement. I recently referred another attorney to Mr. Riddick to serve as a GAL and their feedback has also been overwhelmingly positive.
