In 2012 I was arrested for Theft by taken and while I was in the holding tank my brother looked up a lawyer for me and came across Christine Koehler. She got me out on Bail the same day and then when I actually got to meet her and tell her my side of the story she agreed to take my case. It was a long process...there was a moment when I just wanted to enter a Plea and Christine told me No we will fight it all the way. She kept me in the loop every step of the way. If I did not talk to her then her assistant Katie was able to help me. Needless to say she not only cleared my name she gave me my life back. I would definitely recommend her to any one that I know. I just want to say Thanks from the bottom of my heart.

From the very first time we met with Christine, she was extraordinary. She had the right amount of compassion, expertise, and intelligence, to gain our immediate confidence. To say our family was hit by a mack truck, is an understatement. One fact was very clear, our son was in an incredible amount of trouble, and as a result, we needed not a good lawyer, not even a great lawyer, we needed the Best lawyer. That is what we got in Christine. She immediately knew how to navigate the treacherous waters we were thrust in. She knew how to hold our hands when we needed it. Most importantly, she knew when and how to fight. When your son is arrested its as personal as it gets. After three years fighting for a plea, Christine is family! She will be forever remembered in our family. Her name has been written in our book of righteousness. We knew we had a fighter from the beginning, and believe me, we went 15 rounds to get our deal done. Never for a second did we lose confidence in Christine. When she walks in a courtroom, she commands immediate respect, not only from her associate lawyers, but also from Judges, and dare I say the prosecution. Each case if different, and each case has to be fought on its own merits, so each case has to be fought and each victory earned. Christine earned this victory. She is worth every penny. Watching her in action, is watching a master at her craft. She will not, and does not accept, negative decisions, on the path to a fair outcome. You want a problem solver who is creative, determined, smart, and fierce. Christine has all of those characteristics in diamonds. Her staff is also top notch and very responsive. One of the best decisions i have ever made in my life was hiring Christine. She actually encouraged me to meet with other lawyers ( which i did) in order to be at peace with my decision. I interviewed three of the best lawyers in GA. I came back to Christine. One of the best compliments i could think of is; she cares. She genuinely cares about us as a family and her client as an individual. Christine is without a doubt the best lawyer i have ever had the privilege to get to know and work with. If you want the best, look no further. Christine Koehler is an absolute diamond, and the Ga Bar Association should be very glad to have a lawyer of such a high professional, moral, and ethical caliber such as Christine. I can never repay her for what she did for our family. All i can do is speak my truth, my truth is that Christine is simply the best!

  • Beyond expectations

Another lawyer who specializes in another discipline suggested we seek out Christine for legal representation. Our son was charged with felony possession with intent to distribute and things were looking rather desperate. It was clear from the first meeting that Christine was the right person to represent us. She explained in sufficient detail what the path ahead looked like, both the good path and possible bad path. While we understood that she was no miracle worker it was evident that she had the experience to play out the various legal maneuvers and outside the box thinking that would hopefully lead to a positive outcome. It was clear that she had her work cut out for her, but she gave us hope. Both my wife and I and my son felt very informed and cared for by the entire staff. This was uncharted territory for us as a family and we had tons of questions, feelings and concerns that needed and equal amount of patience and understanding. The year plus was at times exasperating, reset trial dates, etc. There was always compassion and hope coming from Christine and Katie. At the end of the day a combination of a lot of prayer and expert legal representation led to an outcome that surprised us and even Christine's peers. Our son was given a favorable ruling, one that will require him to step up and be accountable, but certainly one that can keep him out of jail with a chance at a productive life. We are grateful for Christine and thankful for an outcome that was truly beyond our expectations. This is why we feel proud to recommend Christine to those who face similar situations.

Professional, Superior, Intelligent, dedicated, Fearless are only a few words that describe this amazing attorney. When I felt the whole world had turned against me Christine took a loosing situation against odds that were staggering to myself considering the opposition and made the very best presentation anyone could ask for with favorable results. If you are in an impossible situation and need help Christine and her staff are worth every penny.

Christine was great. She was explained all my options. This was not my first DUI so I didn't think I had very many options. She was so thorough with her investigations. I was able to keep my license and my DUI was dropped down to wreckless driving. I highly recommend her.

From the moment I spoke with Christine, she put me at ease and I felt I was in good hands. Her professionalism, style, mannerisms, attention to detail and follow through are without a doubt "Superb". Christine displayed many admirable traits but her genuine character and compassion far exceeded my expectations.

  • Can't Say Enough Good Things

I had the great opportunity to retain Christine's services about 6 months ago. I had gotten a speeding ticket and forgotten to pay the fine. This happened, because during the court date I happened to move and never received notices until I was pulled over a year later, arrested with a bench warrant and facing several charges. Christine stepped in quickly taking care of everything. I never had to step in court or talk to anyone.

Christine provides a professional and straight forward style that really cuts through any "lawyer talk" and is always available to make time to talk when you need to ask questions.

I can not recommend Christine and her practice enough.

I'm a highly successful professional who gave into some serious psychological pressures last year and ended up doing something stupid and getting arrested on some very serious and humiliating charges. Subsequent media attention led to my career being destroyed. I was so ashamed and self-loathing, I didn't even know how to help myself. I consulted the best lawyer I knew of locally. After telling him my story he said, "Look, I'm going to be straight with you. I'm very good, and maybe I could help you, but if you want the best, go to Christine Koehler. Whatever I know, I learned from her. And whatever can be done in your case, she can do it." I did, and I thank my lucky stars. She listened, and not just with her mind (which is incredible), but also with her heart. She saw in me a decent human being who went bananas for awhile, and who deserved a fresh start. While she worked the case, her assistant kept me on my feet morally. I was told by people who know Gwinnett County, my case would take probably at least 8 months. I suffered. I went through hell .... And suddenly, it was over, in 5 months. In reviewing the process, it's clear to me that Christine Koehler has mastered not only the ins and outs of jurisprudence, but its fine art as well. My case depended not merely on facts, but on the subtle nuances of human situational understanding. She was able to engage the prosecution in human dialogue. She deeply believes that the law is there not only to condemn, but to find what is truly judicious, even to extend mercy. Sometimes people who have a positive outcome in their cases say, "Now I believe in the system again." I don't buy into that simplistic thinking. If I believe in anything again, it is in myself. I had nearly stopped believing in myself. I was my own harshest judge. Christine explained it like this: "The legal system only wants what is right. My job as your defense attorney is to clarify that on your behalf. I believed in you, and I made it my job to communicate what is right about you to the prosecutor. The prosecutor is also a good person. She understood and eventually believed in you, too." Epilogue: I am presently in emotional recovery. I appreciate life with an intensity unimagined before. But my case could have turned out so much differently. Don't ever think that the system is just the system. The system is as good or as bad as the people who operate within it. One of the very best people, and advocates, has got to be Christine Koehler. Because of her, I have my life back.
