About me

Molly Anderson joined Miles Hansford & Tallant, LLC as an associate in February 2013. Molly's practice focuses on civil litigation, corporate and business representation, estate planning and local government law. Molly is also a member of Georgia Lawyers for the Arts where she volunteers to represent artists throughout the State of Georgia.

Prior to joining the firm, she served as a judicial clerk for the Enotah Judicial Circuit superior court judges. As a judicial clerk, Molly gained experience in a broad array of civil matters, including commercial litigation, real estate matters, adoption law, estate litigation, and professional malpractice. Her time serving the judicial system allowed her to connect with the residents of northeast Georgia and the local legal community.

Molly graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in May 2011. During her time in law school, she served as a Notes Editor on the Georgia Law Review, a research assistant for two professors, and an intern with multiple legal offices, including the University of Georgia Research Foundation (focusing on the University's intellectual property) and the Jackson County District Attorney's Office. Molly argued multiple hearings, and even her first trial, before graduation. She also drafted a research paper on legal ethics in the intellectual property context, which was presented to the Atlanta Intellectual Property Inn of Court in February of 2011.

Prior to attending law school, Molly was a musician and music educator, having studied saxophone performance at the University of Georgia. During her time at UGA, she was a member of the University of Georgia Redcoat Marching Band. She currently lives in Cumming, Georgia with her husband and three dogs.
