My goal is to provide professional and quality representation to my clients at a reasonable rate.
After a career as a Psychologist/Mental Health Counselor I decided to pursue a career in Law. I have found that my experience as a Counselor was good preparation for the practice of Law, particularly in Family Law Cases. The primary skill to be successful in either of these professions is to be a good listener. Lawyers are known for “talking” but unless you have first paid attention and listened to the Client, the Judge and Opposing Counsel it is difficult, if not impossible to say the right thing.
I am married with three children and reside in Dekalb County, Georgia. I grew up in South Georgia and moved to Atlanta after graduating from the University of Georgia. I was heavily involved with the Boy Scouts of America through my son’s attainment of his Eagle rank. I also greatly enjoyed coaching my daughters’ recreational league soccer teams. My wife teaches school in the Dekalb County Public School System, which all of my children have attended. I enjoy my free time and love to fish and pursue wild life photography.
If you find yourself in any kind of legal dispute, please do yourself a favor and obtain representation. While sometimes representing yourself may be the only possibility, if it is otherwise possible you need a qualified lawyer to represent you to ensure your interest are best protected. Please feel free to contact me via email or telephone for a free and confidential consultation.

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.
