My experiences working as a high school teacher and in the sub-prime auto industry inspired me to pursue a legal career that allows me to help people solve real problems and make an immediate and positive impact in their lives. Bringing together a passion for learning, a joy in guiding people through complicated situations, and a desire to help make people’s lives better, I am ready to help create solutions to your legal problems.
My philosophy to the practice of law is simple: treat every client like an old friend who needs help. That means straightforward advice, clear communication, and a plan to help you achieve your objectives. While I understand legal problems in the area of family law or personal injury may not always have a happy ending for everyone involved, I want to help make the best out of every situation for every client.
I am a Spartanburg native who graduated with honors from Drake Law School in Des Moines, Iowa; ranking in the top 20% of my graduating class. I am licensed to practice law in both South Carolina and Colorado. Prior to my legal education, I received a bachelor of science in business administration from USC Upstate and a Master’s in education from Converse College.
My practice focuses on all facets of family law, personal injury, residential real estate closings, and simple estate planning matters. In addition to the practice of law, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three dogs, watching both professional and college sports, and traveling.
