Attorney Matt Silva is the absolute best DWI Lawyer in Jacksonville, NC

Approximately 15 months ago I was involved in a motorcycle collision. That night I was charged with DWI, hit and run and reckless driving. All very serious charges to defend. Clearly, I needed the very best attorney available in Onslow County, North Carolina. Seriously injured and in a great deal... of pain we began searching immediately. We found Mr. Silva through his numerous outstanding reviews on Avvo and other sites. Needless to say, his clients and the reviews were correct. Attorney Matthew Silva is the best. He is intelligent, straight-forward, down to earth, honest and extremely competent. I was convinced after speaking with him in person that he would represent me well. I was not expecting a miracle but that is exactly what I received. I was found not guilty on all charges. Thank you again Matt!

Irresolute Commitment

Mr Silva represents loyalty to his clients. I was acquitted by a jury for DWI in a case spanning nearly six years - a deserving outcome that never could have happened without Silva and his staff battling a system so obviously and erroneously stacked against anyone charged with DWI. Not Guilty and so much more!

Most are willing to tolerate a certain level of conflict in order to reach the outcome of choice; however, Mr. Silva and his associates deliver the highest level of legal proficiency and professional conduct. I was arrested in April 2015 for DWI and went to trial in November 2015. Leading up to trial..., Mr. Silva and his staff kept me and my wife up to date on all court proceedings and trial preparations. As a law school graduate myself, I have a certain level of familiarity with the process that my wife does not. In my mind, Mr. Silva set himself apart from all his contemporaries during his interactions with my wife, who was both a corroborating and character witness in my case. She had extreme anxiety about testifying. Mr. Silva treated her with a delicate and courteous demeanor that alleviated her anxiety while encouraging her confidence. During trial, Mr. Silva demonstrated a commanding knowledge of the pertinent case law and zealously advocated for our side. I would unequivocally recommend Mr. Silva and his associates to anyone seeking legal counsel.

Could not be happier

I contacted Mr. Silva shortly after I was arrested for a DUI. He promptly scheduled me for a free consultation and fit me in within a 2 days. This was my first arrest and I had no previous experience in talking to a lawyer or dealiing with the court system so I was pretty nervous. During my consultat...ion, he seemed to be very knowledgeable and explained everything that he would do to fight my case for me. He explained that he would begin reviewing the details and would pick out any little detail that he thought could help us dispute the officers findings and made sure that they followed procedure to a tee. After consulting with two other lawyers in Jacksonville, I decided that Mr. Silva was the best option. He was very open to any questions I had and didnt mind taking the time to explain anything that I did not understand. Since I had no prior experience in dealing with the court system, I put 100% faith in Mr. SIlva and let him come up with a strategy. I wont go into detail but he stuck to his plan and kept me informed along the way. Although the case took a while to resolve, the end result concluded with me not being convicted for the DUI and pleading guilty to a careless and wreckless citation which was only a small fine and court cost. I could not be more pleased with the outcome of my case. In addition to his excellent work, he also allowed me to pay him on a payment plan, which was abosoluty great as I am a student and could not afford to pay any attourney outright. While he may be a little more expensive than some other attourneys in the area, you get what you pay for and he delivered. I would not hesitate to hire him again should the occasion ever arise.

BEST DWI ATTORNEY!!!

I was involved in a hit and run accident. The accident was not my fault at all but I did get charged with a DWI. I had went to one attorney who had wanted me to plea guilty. I had passed every single field sobriety test that the officer had given me and it was stated that I was not at fault in the ac...cident on the police report. So I felt like there was no need for me to plea guilty of a DWI. Which I am so glad that I didn't because Attorney Matthew Silva was able to get my case dismissed entirely. He did an awesome job. He came prepared and was very knowledgeable.
