An actual honest lawyer in Jacksonville!
Matt is a true professional. He is very honest with you from the beginning and doesnt sugar coat anything. I received a free consultation that in my opinion was very valuable. Matt took more than an hour of his day to explain the intricacies of my particular case and helped me develop an appropria...

Above and Beyond!
One of the silver linings in what has been a very dismal time has proven to be Matthew SIlva of Silva & Sweet! His professional, straight forward demeanor set me at ease immediately. His knowledge of the law and the legal system took what I saw as a hopeless case and turned it into an outcome beyon...

Expensive DUI Attorney
The lawyer told me exactly what I wanted to hear. After all was said and done, I believe this firm is too overpriced with regards to handling a DUI. I was not informed of the option of performing community service or spending 24 hours in jail (community service was $200 more expensive). There was no ...
There is absolutely no way you were a client of mine. I suspect that you are an opposing party of some sort. Community service is $250.00 more, not $200 more so I don't think you were even involved with a DWI. When I have to plead someone guilty, or rather, when they choose to plead guilty, I always tell them that I recommend doing one day in jail over 24 hours of community service. I will go ahead and give out some trade secrets to further my proposition that you are not a client. I have literally created a checklist of issues to go over with my clients before the case is disposed. If you had a consultation with me, you would have known the checklist is there because I actually start filling it out with the client. Secondly, at the very first consult, I ask if you want to have a DMV hearing. I explain how they can come up and what to expect in the mail. Thirdly, my staff tells everyone about their court dates at least a week in advance . . . especially if they have to be there. Lastly, I tell everyone, and I mean EVERYONE that pleads guilty or is found guilty about the appeal. I tell them about this because it will set aside everything that has happened and start the slate clean. This is really what separates me from others. If you didn't like the judgment and you were a client, you would have had the opportunity to appeal. Messing with someone's reputation is dirty and I hope you understand that. This firm supports my wife and children. You may be upset because I beat you at some trial, but this is just a blow below the belt. This can only be the result of trauma inflicted upon you by others. I hope you find peace in your life and that my words impact your future behavior.

Expect to be ignored.
I went with these guys because they were inexpensive, and seemed friendly enough. I forked over my entire payment in full all at once, and then I never heard from them again. Every time I called to ask about driving classes I needed to take, it was "I don't know and I don't have any information for y...
Tiffany: I am sorry that you had a bad experience, but I did not represent you. If an attorney at my other location represented you, please call and speak with me and I will resolve whatever issue you had with that attorney.
