Amazing outcome!

Mr.Silva is an outstanding attorney to have on your side. I was battling a DUI and many other alcohol related charges. All of my charges had me facing incarceration. Mr.Silva had these charges dropped as well as the court fees waved. He is a great guy, works hard and has very friendly associates. I ...couldn't have imagined better results!

Hardest working man in the courthouse.

Matt broke out hand books and regulations and such that neither the arresting officer nor the ADA knew about. Kinda made them look dumb in front of what could have been a jury that buried any other lawyers client. They came back inside of an hour with a non-guilty. If I ever need council again, He's ...the man. Highly recommended.

Dismissed

Matthew Silva is an outstanding lawyer, the best in Jacksonville NC by far. He was able to get my case dismissed within a week after I was charged! I was looking at some serious consequences from this charge of assault. Me being in the military I couldn't have this interfere with my job, which could ...have resulted in me getting discharged. He assured me he could get it dismissed and that's what he did, and fast! Would definitely recommend him to anyone, and would choose him again in a heartbeat. Thank you again Mr. Silva!

Saved my sons future

Our 17 year old son found himself facing some potentially serious charges. He had never been in any trouble before and has been planning on going into the medical field via the military for some years now. These charges could have derailed those plans if not appropriately and expeditiously handled.... We went into Mr. Silvia's office scared and not knowing what to expect. Leaving our intial consultation we knew that our son was in good hands and that we could rest assured that Mr. Silvia would do all in his power to assure that our son could continue on with his plans in life without a criminal conviction. The case was handled quicker than expected and the entire case ended up being dismissed due to the experience and intimate knowledge Mr. Silvia has of the judicial system. Our son now has the opportunity to graduate high school this year and proceed forward with his life goals thanks to Mr. Silvia. I will highly recommend him to anyone I encounter who has legal needs.

Hit and Run / Resist, Obstruct, Delay

Mr. Silva was straight forward right off the bat. He did not try to sugar coat anything. He's very polite and an excellent lawyer. Everything he would tell me would happen, happened. My wife bumped a car in the parking lot and didn't think there was damaged so she left. A bystander called the police.... The person whose car was hit did not press charges, however, NC did. A friend who is a lawyer in our hometown told us not to bring our car in, so I told the police I wouldn't bring it in. However, he could not represent us in NC, so I got charged with "resist, obstruct, delay". He was very honest with us and had a great personality. He got everything dropped and I would use him again in a heartbeat. We have recommended him to others and will continue to so. This is the first time both of us have had to get a lawyer or had any issues with the law and he made it very easy to follow and broke things down for us. He even went over our meeting time to discuss our questions/concerns which made us feel very special. Excellent Lawyer!!

Thank you for the great review. I know it took a while to get your case dismissed, but that is just the nature of things. I am glad that you and your wife are able to move on without any criminal convictions. In my legal opinion, you do not have an obligation to help law enforcement with an investigation. I think what you did is perfectly legal. If law enforcement wanted to see your car they should have gotten a search warrant. I think they were just being lazy and vindictive by charging you. Nevertheless, it was dismissed so I am happy with the outcome. Best of luck in all your future endeavors and thank you for referring people to me.
