So amazing I've reviewed twice

I found my way back to mr. Silva's review page because of needing legal counsel again, and realized my prior review had not been posted. He is worth reviewing 10 times over, which is why he is the first attorney I searched for today. Mr. Silva is extremely knowlegable and has an awesome manner wi...th clients. He is also one of the rare attorneys in this area that isn't intimidated at the thought of fighting 'the system.' I was facing criminal charges due to a completely insane chain of events involving myself and my child, but he never made me feel judged when he easily could have. He explained his expectations clearly and concisely, and kept me informed of what to expect. Luckily in my case, over time more facts revealed themselves and I was able to show my innocence pretty easily, but he was willing to fight the whole way from the start. The day before my case was dismissed, he made time to meet with me at my request (very last minute, but he still made time!) in his office. He listened attentively, and I could tell that He wasn't having to shuffle through notes to remember the facts. (Shows He genuinely cares about his clients and their situation!) After patiently listening to all the new details, he gave me a quick and concise opinion of how it would change the case, then congratulated me on how I had conducted myself through the process, which I desperately needed to hear. He was still realistic, and told me that it may still take time to resolve. The next morning I got the phone call saying it had been dismissed, and I had never felt so relieved and thankful in my life. Another aspect i greatly appriciated was that after retaining his services I did not have to visit another court room. I never had to be worried id he'd show up or fight for me because his staff are amazing about reaching out to clients about any developments or legal dates. Mr. Silva put other attorneys I'd seen to shame on every level, from case expectations, client communication, legal knowledge, responsiveness and results. He is the best in his field in Onslow County and that's why he is worth the time of a lengthy review twice!

Excellent service for our son

Mr.Silva is a man of great knowledge in the world of law! His insight into the case of our son came with our greatest appreciation! He always spoke confidently, respectfully and reassuringly! We became aware that he is extremely well respected and admired by his fellow District Attorneys and lawye...rs. This case ended up with a wonderful not guilty verdict for our son. However, had it gone the other way, we would still have appreciated and valued the wonderful thorough and dedicated service of Mr. Silva! We would highly recommend his services!

DWI

Mr. Silva was brought to my attention after having to face a DWI case that I could not afford to have on my record. I had no idea what I was going to do considering I am a nurse from Charleston who just graduated, started my career, and just moved out on my own. I could not afford something so troubl...ing on my record so I reached out to Mr. Silva and from day 1 not only was he very informative, but so were his other employees. Prior to hiring him I looked up other reviews and talked to people from the small town, and each and every one of them recommended Mr. Silva. Events leading up to our final court date Mr. Silva and/or his employees contacted me on a monthly basis updating me informing me what I needed to do in order to succeed at this case, worked on a payment plan with me, and were all very understanding. Mr. Silva even recommended for me to contact my witness and have him testify for me to make my case stronger and more secure. Once it came time for the final court date, I was the last case making the pressure build and build causing me to become a nervous wreck considering I was not from the area and only interacted with Silva via phone calls. However, throughout the whole time waiting to be appointed by the judge, Silva constantly and continued to study my case asking me questions and detecting ways to approach the situation in a tactful way. He believed in me when I was at my ultimate low considering this court thing was new to me. However, he had strategy behind my case and when the time came he blew my mind away by how he detected and compared what was being said by the cop opposed to what was written in the cops report. He called upon my witness prior to me talking, and that was very helpful for my case because he was more clear headed than I reminding me of the events of that day of prosecution considering my anxiety had fogged my memory making it nearly impossible to have a clear head. However, his plan to have my witness speak first really helped me within myself to appoint the judge. With all that being said, we won the case with only a speeding ticket charge. I cannot thank Mr. Silva enough for his dedication and the power of freeing the pressure from my shoulders. I can now continue to proceed with my career of a nurse practitioner with this burden off of my chest! I would absolutely recommend him to all!

Five Stars for a Reason

Anyone looking for a lawyer who not only conducts himself in a very professional manner, but also is well established and has an incredible reputation in the field? Mr. Silva is your guy and in my opinion is THE BEST. I was charged with a DWI a while back. Mr. Silva was able to sway the judge to a No...n-Guilty verdict.
