THANK YOU!!!

I was in Jacksonville North Carolina one year ago. I was traveling to visit friends and drove from NY to NC on a short period of time. I pulled into a driveway after hanging with my friend to put directions in my phone and next thing I know a random woman pulled-in behind me speaking on the phone ...to someone, long behold it was the sheriff department. I had no idea what was going on, the police officer proceeded with DUI/DWI procedures with me and I was not happy with it at all. I have been pulled over before, at least not while I am not driving the vehicle or in the vehicle, I had out-of-state license plates and not aware of my surrounding, so because I refused the Alcohol Breath Test he arrested me. I was so confused and needed some help on what just happened and what was I going to do from this point. I returned to NY in the next few days and like most, I received lots mail from other Attorneys mailing me asking to represent me. I called many of them in that town, they did not have a set price and some did not make feel confident as if they would have my best interest at heart. I finally spoke with Mr. Silva’s office which he made me feel like my situation was unique and he wanted to represent me and offered me a set price for my case not a penny more. I chose him base on his knowledge, years of experience as prosecutor and he was very up front and was willing to talk to me about the case for while without charging me for anything. I had a long hard year of this case, but I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Mr. Silva has been nothing short of amazing, professional throughout the whole process, his legal teams are the best; I was always greeted with a wonderful greeting on the phone and great service by Amber and his staff. I would highly recommend Mr. Silva. Thank you!

Moise, I cannot say how happy I am that your case was dismissed. You were a pleasure to work with. I had a strong belief, in the beginning, that the case would have a positive outcome, but there are always uncertainties. Thank you for choosing my law firm and allowing us to represent you. If you have any other needs in NC, please do not hesitate to call! Sincerely, Matt Silva.

Expensive DUI Attorney

The lawyer told me exactly what I wanted to hear. After all was said and done, I believe this firm is too overpriced with regards to handling a DUI. I was not informed of the option of performing community service or spending 24 hours in jail (community service was $200 more expensive). There was no ...assistant with any of the DMV matters. The matter was prolonged for a year prior to appearing in court. I was called the day prior of having to appear in court, in which I should have been notified at least a week in advance at minimum. I expected a lot more from this firm regarding the price I paid.

There is absolutely no way you were a client of mine. I suspect that you are an opposing party of some sort. Community service is $250.00 more, not $200 more so I don't think you were even involved with a DWI. When I have to plead someone guilty, or rather, when they choose to plead guilty, I always tell them that I recommend doing one day in jail over 24 hours of community service. I will go ahead and give out some trade secrets to further my proposition that you are not a client. I have literally created a checklist of issues to go over with my clients before the case is disposed. If you had a consultation with me, you would have known the checklist is there because I actually start filling it out with the client. Secondly, at the very first consult, I ask if you want to have a DMV hearing. I explain how they can come up and what to expect in the mail. Thirdly, my staff tells everyone about their court dates at least a week in advance . . . especially if they have to be there. Lastly, I tell everyone, and I mean EVERYONE that pleads guilty or is found guilty about the appeal. I tell them about this because it will set aside everything that has happened and start the slate clean. This is really what separates me from others. If you didn't like the judgment and you were a client, you would have had the opportunity to appeal. Messing with someone's reputation is dirty and I hope you understand that. This firm supports my wife and children. You may be upset because I beat you at some trial, but this is just a blow below the belt. This can only be the result of trauma inflicted upon you by others. I hope you find peace in your life and that my words impact your future behavior.
