On the 17th of May my wife bought a baby carrier from the target on 2056 Skibo Rd Fayetteville, NC 28314. The item was marked re-sealed and discounted. Upon opening the item we discover that it was not only dirty but covered with cat fur. My wife...
Just get your money back. You have no legal case beyond the nuisance of the situation. I'm sorry that happened to you.See question
She is 15 a freshman in high school and I'm 20 in the US military
Under North Carolina law, a 20 year old having sex with a 15 year old would be statutory rape, a conviction for which would put you in prison for many years and in the sex offender registry. Stay away from her!See question

The police came to my mothers looking for me with my picture saying i lied to a fast food place to get free food is this even illegal
It could be Felony Obtaining Property by False Pretenses. If the police are looking for you, someone has called them and reported it. I would contact a lawyer immediately and do not answer any questions posed by police without an attorney present. Good luck!See question
my boyfriend has one misdemeanor on his record, and he can't get a job because of it. how does he get rid of it? how much would it cost?
It depends on whether he was convicted of the charge or it was dismissed. If convicted, he must wait 15 years from his release from confinement or probation before petitioning for expunction, if in fact his conviction is eligible otherwise. An exception to the 15 year waiting period is if he was under 18 at the time of the offense.
If he was not convicted, that is a separate type of expunction altogether. He will likely need to talk to an attorney to determine if he is eligible for an expunction.See question
I'm 17 years old i recently was at a party and ended with the cops there i blew a .4 and charged me with underage drinking. should i get a pjc or ask for something different?
No, hire a lawyer in Fayetteville who can get it dismissed. A PJC is still a conviction and caN't be expunged. Good luck!See question
Pulled for speeding, being given sobriety test and complaining about hearing, seeing and rocks only to learn that we were not in front of the camera to prove or disprove.
No. There is no requirement in NC that sobriety tests be on camera. Cameras are not required in court. I have seen no cases get dismissed for this reason, and DWIs make up half of my practice. You are going to need more grounds than this to beat your DWI. Good luck!See question
I was hit by a drunk driver and incurred over $60,000 in medical bills. My policy only covers a maximum of $50,000. His policy only covers $30,000. I have no medical insurance. Between the car and medical bills it's more than the policies cove...
Absolutely. We know how to legally reduce medical bills and invalidate medical liens in certain cases. Even after paying a lawyer, we have ways of helping you actually walk with some compensation for your pain and suffering. Not hiring a lawyer will ensure that your medical creditors get everything leaving you nothing for your pain and suffering. You should hire a personal injury attorney immediately!See question
Hello. I received a citation on 7/27 and to this day the CVB have not received it. I was wondering if there's a certain amount of time the officer has to send it in before it becomes invalid or anything....or can they take as long as they want to ...
Citations issued on Ft. Bragg routinely take 90 to 120 days before a court date is assigned. To further complicate matters, the Federal Court in Fayetteville is closed until further notice because of hurricane damage and they are not supposed to schedule any CVB cases there until January. I would advise you to hire a lawyer who practices in Federal Court who can handle this for you so that you don't have to worry about it. Good luck!See question
