This is one Attorney that people should steer away from. He also serves as a Public Defender for Mecklenburg County which consumes most of his time as he is in court every day all day in most cases. This means less time for his retained clients that have actually paid him. Expect your case to be drag...ged along and be billed for everything. From what I have been able to also find most of his public defender clients that have gone to trial have all been sentenced to prison for an extensive time. The North Carolina Bar has recently had to Reprimand him on multiple ethical and professional standards violations. If the Attorney feels he does not owe an explanation to the State Bar that regulates his ability to practice Law, then what outcome can you expect in your case. Hired this guy, cannot say he is an attorney, to help me through a child support modification, he persented to me that my case was not over his head and that with the documentation I persented was what we needed to move forward with my modification. After given him $2,500 to open my retainer then ano...ther $300.00 cash absolutely nothing got done never heard from the guy again, after sending email after email trying to call his place of work finally received a return call which was meaningless and an email. He absolutely hustled me out of my money. Please beware of this guy. I will be filling a complaint with the State Board of North Carolina!

Paid him 4k and he took my money and did very little. I emailed him on many occasions asking for updates and it would be weeks before I heard from him. Often he would not even respond until I would persist and continue emailing. Find a different attorney than this guy. If he asks for a retainer, ...I would not write the check.

I hired Charles Anderson for a personal injury case dye to a car accident. After all the promises he made about my case, he never food anything for me. He had my car for 2 years and didn't do anything. Anytime i would call it had to speak to his secretary (she was awesome) or I'd be sent to voice-m...ail which wad always full. In the two years he had my case he didn't even get my medical bills or contact the defendant or anything. Never answered my questions properly, would return phone calls weeks later. He is a terrible attorney. I had to fire him and hire someone else. Do not hire this man!
