I had the pleasure of working with Lance. I am amazed by the effort he put in on this case and had a 200% better outcome than expected. I was automatically placed at a level 1 due to being pulled over while the kids were in the car along with my spouse at the time, this was back in 2020. I appeared f...or my court date on 11/23. He made the process smooth as can be and did everything he could to get me the least amount of time etc. Normally Gaston county likes to give up to 4 months of jail time, but this wasn't the case for me. I had a good clean record and driving history, I followed his plan the best I could. I blew a 0.8 and it's unfortunate that the only reason that I was stopped, was because I was driving over the speed limit. Lance provides you with a well-thought-out plan that he requires you to complete, unfortunately, I could not complete the inpatient alcohol services, because I believe if I did I would not have gotten the little time I did receive. I am free to write this post, and not locked up at this time so this should tell you something. He's the best! I know every case is different and every outcome is different, but I want people to know that with the right attorney, such as Lance you are able to possibly keep your job. Just a little background, I have never been in trouble before and this was my 1st DUI and it was an automatic level one. Good driving record, and no criminal history. I followed his plan as well except for being in the inpatient alcoholism program. With this being said, I received 10 days of jail time, which can be done on the weekends and or holidays that I do not have to work, 18 months of supervised probation and I have to wear an alcohol monitor for 28 more days because I wore one for a few months already. This is a blessing for me to be able to continue working and being there for my kids. Everyone makes mistakes and when you have someone by your side as trustworthy and as loyal as Mr. Lance Williams, just know, you are not alone and he will fight for you till the very end.
