Ashley L. Oldham is recognized by the North Carolina State Bar as a Board Certified Specialist in the area of Family Law. Since 2011, she has limited her practice to the areas of family law and criminal defense. Ashley has represented clients in a wide variety of family law cases across the state of North Carolina including premarital agreements, post-marital agreements, property division, custody and visitation, support matters and all aspects of military divorce. Her regular practice includes, but is not limited to, practice in Wake, Cumberland, Harnett, Moore, Chatham, Orange, Durham and Johnston County.
Ashley has taught continuing legal education courses on issues of military divorce to the North Carolina Bar Association, The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School in Charlottesville, Virginia, and the American Bar Association. She has been published by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, LexisNexis and Lawyer’s Mutual.
A North Carolina native, Ashley graduated cum laude from Elon University with a B.A. in Psychology and dual minors in Business Administration and Political Science. She received her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University. While at Campbell, Ashley graduated in the top 10% of her class and served as an editor for the Campbell Law Review.
