We were in need of legal assistance for a "guardianship issue" - we explained it clearly in a voice mail and detailed it in brief on her Profile site and contacted her based on her services listed on the website.
A few days later we called back and her telephone answering person asked if I received her call the previous day - I had no record of a call. She said she couldn't do the case because it was a "contested" issue. Well, she could have saved us three-four days if only that caveat was listed on her website. It wasn't, and it isn't.
Very disappointing interaction.
So, Ms. Wiggen - If you can't do it, that's fine, but it's listed on the website that you can. So which is it? It seems by any standard that listed services are the ones you provide.
We were excited to have found you - you seemed capable and able to provide the services we need, and we liked your profile and experience.
Boy, were we surprised.

Dori was extremely helpful in navigating the workings of my late parents affairs. In this very stressful time I was guided by Ms, Wiggen through all the legal requirements and issues that came up during the processes. Her skilled dexterity in communicating to other heirs who were not cooperative during the probate process was evidence of her legal competence and her abilities in handling elder law.

Dori took the time to listen to my husband and me and really understood what we were looking for in making out a will and setting up a special needs trust for our son. She responded to our questions in a timely fashion and was very thorough in her treatment of the matter. She anticipated potential problems I hadn't even considered, and when we found things we wanted to change, she did so without any hesitation. Her presentation was professional. We would highly recommend her to others.

I am impressed with Ms. Wiggen's thoughtful advice and answers to legal questions on Avvo. She has an in-depth understanding of the law and an ability to communicate legal concepts clearly and effectively. I endorse this lawyer!
