Following a light collision on a merging lane, the law enforcement officer decided to give me a citation, for "failure to reduce speed as necessary to avoid colliding with a vehicle". I had pushed the brake on time, when the car in the front stopped abruptly with no apparent reason (no stop sign, jus...t a give way, and no other car in sight), but I had touched the car in the front slightly. The damage to my bumper was minimal, as was the back of vehicle in the front of me (total cost of the repairs end up being about 1000$ for each car). I was very nervous to go in court. I hired Michaels law partner Matthew for my case. Matthew worked out something with the DA so that if I was charged I would turn myself in and there would be no need for a warrant to be put out for me. Well that didn't happen and I was picked up at my house thanks to some over eager police. I called ...Matthew before being taken in.
