Great CSI

I hired Michael not just because he was personable, compassionate and intuitive, I loved his staff. They kept me abreast of how my case was progressing. No smoke and mirrors, very upfront and honest. A great 1st experience with using an atty.

Hands Down Best Decision I Could Have Made

Honestly, I'm not one for writing reviews, but these guys were outstanding. My wife was in a bad accident where she was hit my a drunk driver on her way home from work, ended up needing surgery and several months of recovery. To top it all off the guy had really poor insurance. Now I've never been... in a situation like this before, never needed a lawyer, never been in an accident, and I was suddenly having to take care of my handicapped wife who needed full time attention, a 8 month year old son, and going to school full time, needless to say I was overwhelmed and lost. When I was searching for a lawyer I was more than a little skeptical, what with all the ambulance chasers out there, but after doing thorough searching looking at reviews, their past work experience, track record, and other variables, i ended up giving Marurer Law a call as they seemed the best on paper. Mike cam to the hospital that same day even though it was a Friday afternoon and any normal person would have just scheduled to meet on Monday so they didn't have to work late, answered all my questions, and didn't pressure us at all, giving us time to think over our options. Over the next few months when we met, even having my son at some of the meetings never phased him or his staff, they we're actually amazing good with my son. Even with the other drivers insurance being so poor, they managed to get us the maximum we could get, and then some. Honestly i cant say enough good things about Mike and his staff, they really saved me and my family when we really needed it. Just a simple review doesn't show my gratitude. And in case you're wondering. no this is not one of those paid reviews (I was wondering that when I was searching for a lawyer, and considering all their reviews were too good I was skeptical of that too, but trust me they really are that amazing)

Great Lawyer, Great Team!!!

My daughter was injured and I had never used a lawyer before. I had no idea how to find a lawyer or what to ask. I ended up using AVVO to find Maurer Law. I was extremely happy to have chosen Mike Maurer, not just because we had a positive outcome, but more so because the firm thought through the e...ntire process before acting and communicated with us along the way. Mike and his staff were very smart, professional and thorough. They reviewed every aspect of how my daughter was injured, interviewed employees and witnesses, researched maintenance records, employee-training records as well as contacted WRAL news who ran the story. Mike utilized ever resource in order to shine some light on what happened to my daughter. He used Private Investigators to conduct interviews, shot videos of the equipment functionality and the employees interactions with customers. Mike felt it necessary to also include the utilization of a wellness nurse to determine potential future needs my daughter may require health-wise as she ages. Maurer Law represented my daughter better than I had ever anticipated. I would recommend Mike and his team for two simple reasons; they’re a genuine team that enjoys working together and secondly they do not try over-selling you on their capabilities or potential outcomes to get your business. Mike explained the process, laid out strategies and communicated expectations and timelines throughout the process. A respected professional that is authentic and genuine…. A Great Attorney with a Great Staff

I was very impressed with the first meeting I had with Mr. Maurer. He & his assistant, Connie Sommers, listened intently & immediately put me at ease. They went through every aspect of my story & explained how they would proceed in representing me if I decided to hire them. I was so impressed that I ...hired them immediately & was never disappointed. I was in an accident with a truck driver that worked for a large trucking company. Even though the company took full responsibility for the accident, they refused to accept that my injuries were as severe as they actually were. Even after I submitted to every test the Company requested, they still balked on paying most of my medical expenses and offered little or nothing for the time I spent in recovering from my injuries. Mr. Maurer worked tirelessly & even though he finally had to file a lawsuit to get the company's attention, he was not reluctant to do so. Connie Sommers kept me informed and was always prompt to return my emails & calls. The company finally agreed to mediation & my case was brought to a conclusion that exceeded my expectations.
