I hired Ms. Massie about 3 years ago. I worked with her until she quit a year ago in the middle of an emergency order leaving me without representation and the other attorney able to get things he should've never been able to do. The father of my child had failed a drug test, it took me months to get her to find out about these results and then take action. When we finally took action, like every time we'd gone to court before we sat in her office and she built it up like it was a slam dunk. We'd get to court, she would talk to opposing counsel and her tune would change. She was very disrespectful to me the entire time, but this was my first time hiring an attorney so I didn't know what to expect. I would have to ride her constantly to get her to do anything. On our final matter together, the emergency order I mentioned before, she kept changing the time and date of the meeting with the judge so I never knew what was happening until it was too late. She NEVER had my child or my best interest as a priority. My new attorney is having to wade through the mess she made and figure out where we can backtrack and correct the huge errors she made. Take this advice, DO NOT HIRE.

She seemed to be on the other side and to be working with them and against me. I had to review documentation and tell her what should be done instead of her reviewing it and telling me from a legal standpoint what my options were. She would receive documents from child support and pass them to me to sign without pointing out areas of concern or things that needed changing for my benefit. I would never use her again.
