George Lantz drew up a legal document (to change my dad's will) to have signed in the presence of my father (on his his death bed, while heavily sedated on morphine), by my step brother with two witnesses that my step brother had prearranged.. This occurred five minutes after I left his (my Dad's room) hospice room to go get my brother so that we could both be there on his dying bed. He died the next day. My dad was so out of it, he could not sign the paper to change his will. It was just a line about six inches long that ran off of the document. ( but may have held up in court). My dad had provided everything for his second wife for nearly 15 years before dying shortly before his 95th birthday. They had a nuptial agreement outlying all expenses. But even with that my dad paid ALL expenses, including but not limited to paying her income tax every year (not in the nuptial agreement). My step bother hired George Lance to represent him and presented the "signed document" that basically stated that my dad's estate would care for her( his second wife) and all of her expenses until the day she died. (presented to us about 6 weeks after his death) After Death taxes (in a state that my Dad did not want to live in) and an out of court settlement, it cost about $100,000 USD to put it all to bed. I am sure this Attorney was somewhat manipulated by my step brother, but even still he should have done some more homework before pursuing this case. Very poor judgement in my opinion.
