Worst attorney on the planet earth. He treated me like he had some sort of enmity towards me. I got a reckless 24/70 on interstate while driving a CMV. It was first ever ticket in since I got my drivers license 3 years ago. A friend of mine recommended to get a member of motor club of America and the...y will provide an attorney. I got one as this dude through them, paid $300 to this guy and $50 to the club I guess. He called me once and asked me briefly about the ticket and after that he would never wanna talk to me. Never picked my phones, I even wrote handwritten letters to him and also faxed him saying that I wanted to talk to him about the case, but he never responded to none of letters and phone calls. All I got was a letter in the mail saying that he represented me in the court and that I was found guilty. I wish I went to the court by myself and I would have easily convinced the judge to atleast drop down the charges to speeding. I paid $836 and my license was suspended for 30 days in the State of Washington. I lost my driving job where I was making $6000 a month and nobody would hire me because of that reckless record. I had to get an SR22 which is a financially Responsibility Certificate issued by the insurance companies to reinstate my license. I pay high insurance and I depend of government assistance which I never had to do before even with my four dependents. Since my conviction, I have lost thousands of dollars for being able to use my driving skills to earn for my family and plus its costing the government thousands of dollars. This attorney probably went and told the judge to even convict me. Thats how I feel about such an attorney. All he wanted my $300. Once he got the money, he didn't wanna give sh** to my case and move on to the next prey. I had no experience with tickets and attorney in my life ever and didnt do much research either and I was 100% dependent on this attorney and also I didnt know the consequence of such a conviction, otherwise I would have gone to the court myself. I was not speeding by intention. It was a half a mile down hill and my gps froz which I normally use to check the speed and by the time I realize that I was going too fast, I had already hit the bottom of the hill and the cop had laser on me.
