Joseph Zachary Simmons is a lifelong resident of the New River Valley. He grew up in Christiansburg and graduated from Christiansburg High School. Joey has always been and continues to be a big part of the community. He enjoys playing soccer and golf in his free time. Joey is also a frequent volunteer at the Lyric Theater in Blacksburg and serves on the Board of Directors for the theater.

After being admitted to the Virginia State Bar Association, Joseph excitedly opened the doors to The Simmons Law Firm, PC. The offices are conveniently located across the Street from the Montgomery County Courthouse at 16 East Main Street, Suite 100, in Christiansburg. The Simmons Law Firm is a full service firm providing comprehensive legal services to Southwest Virginia.

Joseph decided to practice and study the Law while attending Roanoke College. This desire arose out of a keen interest in the role policy plays in our daily lives and a sincere desire to help others untangle the confusion that arises when legal challenges are present. Joseph Simmons understands the power of the Justice System to have a meaningful impact on the lives of others and on society when there are men and women of integrity leading the way to make the law work for everyone. In pursuit of these ideals, Joseph Simmons opened The Simmons Law Firm, PC in 2010.

Excellent Attorney

Great lawyer!
This lawyer was fantastic. I will definitely go to him for all other matters. Not only was he awesome, he went out of his way to set up a payment plan for me to help me cover legal fees. He detailed every invoice so I knew what I was paying for and the services that were provided.

Best attorney in town!
Mr. Simmons was able to help me out in a very complex and sensitive estate planning situation. When you're in a complex legal situation you need an attorney who specializes in that area. Mr. Simmons was very knowledgeable and saved the family a lot of money in the long run.

A Courteous and Fair Attorney
Joseph has an expansive knowledge of the law and was able to clearly and accurately explain my legal situation. He was honest and up front and was fair in his billing. He was one of the only attorneys I could find specializing in Elder Care and Special Needs Law which was a godsend.

The best Lawyer!
Joseph Simmons is an attorney who is always willing to go the extra mile for his clients. He went above and beyond for me when handling my parent's estate work in Virginia. He very clearly explained the situation and helped us resolve the issue with out a hitch. He was very articulate and honest with his billing practices and invoices and provided detailed accounts of his time and expenses!
