A former Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, David brings a unique perspective to his clients' cases. In addition to his private practice and court-appointed criminal defense work, David volunteers with the Virginia Bar Association's Veterans Issues Task Force, which is a statewide group of attorneys that provides pro bono and reduced-fee legal services to those returning from overseas deployments.
Prior to opening his law firm, David provided contract work for a local firm specializing in gun law. David also worked in the legal department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond during law school and co-authored a law review article with David G. Epstein.
David is an avid sportsman and enjoys cooking, supporting the Richmond Spiders, and spending time with family.
