The Peoples' Attorney

CASE: on one fateful evening, we collided with a motorcyclist. No one was hurt. Nonetheless. we were issued a reckless driving ticket (traffic misdemeanor violation) in the city of Hampton Roads. SOLUTION: we googled search for a lawyer who had experience with the military and who was initimately ...aware with how a misdemeanor could affect one's career. There were numerous good reviews of Attorney O'Brien. We decided to take her chances on her (and we are so grateful we did!) WHY HER?: - her practice is extremely responsive to emails - she's unapologetically honest and forthright. You know exactly where you stand, what your chances are, and how she can help you - she's resourceful - her practice is in the heart of Hampton Roads OUTCOME: our case was dismissed. We were in the best of hands. I encourage those who need a strong and intelligent advocate to consult with Attorney O'Brien now.

Willing, and capable to fight the tuff fights, with passion, intelligence, and integrity

sometimes in life you get caught up in situations so bad you need a person to fight for you because you are unable to fight for yourself, and that is exactly what Mrs. O'Brien does. She will fight with every legal tool at her disposal in order to make sure her clients get what they deserve. She does ...not care if the fight is against the United states military or the state, she'll fight for what's right, and she does not care how long it will take to get justice, and the best thing is she will WIN!!!, and win big. I would Hire this lawyer at the drop of a hat because she takes care of business.

Restoration of Rights

I recently called Ms. O’Brien concerning a long-ago Court Martial. I had long been convinced that dealing with the restoration of rights — my right to vote and possess a firearm — would be long, difficult and expensive. Much of that impression came from reviewing law-based opinions on the Internet. M...s. O’Brien methodically talked me through the reverent laws, revealing that, based on Federal and Virginia laws, I was already eligible to vote and possess a firearm. She also pointed out the errors of many Internet Barracks Lawyers, including those who have law degrees. If you are looking for a lawyer, look no further. Contact Ms. O’Brien. She is a straight-talker, clear thinker and is extremely patience in explaining the law. If I ever need a lawyer again, it will be Ms. O’Brien. Retired Military

Amazing Attorney for Military Matters

Over the course of the last year and I half I have been going through a rough time in the Army. I was wrongfully accused of some things, the former unit command treated me like dirt and wouldn't afford me due process, the Army TDS was Counsel was ineffective, at the end of the day I day I thought my ...career was over. I decided to get on-line to find a civilian attorney. The Hampton Roads has numerous attorneys that deal with Navy and Air Force Law due to this area's saturation of such, but not many that deal with Army Law for servicemembers like myself. When Crystina met with me and took my case she jumped in feet first and assured me from the beginning that I would be o.k.. SHE DID NOT LIE! Mrs. O'brien fiercely engaged my command and was able to dissect with expert precision the erroneous documents my unit was forcing on me and placing in my records, she tirelessly researched all aspects of the case, wrote amazing and well versed appeals and rebuttals on my behalf, and really, really, really took the fight to my unit and was able to prove my innocence to a culminating seperation board in the end. I am so thankful to have someone on my side who doesn't back down and exhausts any means and long hours to help. I recommend her to anyone who need a great attorney, especially military servicemembers, she is a veteran and her military experice is invaluable. Crystina is a good hearted and caring person to work with, but when it is time to fight for you she is an absolute bulldog and that is what you need most!

Oustanding Lawyer: Understands Pplication o UCMJ/military Law. Outstanding Civil/Criminal defense Attorney.

Crystina M. O'Brien is a defininte credit to her profession as an attorney. She represented me about 6 to 7 years ago while I was still on active duty and helped me to get through a tough period during my military career and was able to help me maintain and keep what I had through pointing out the i...njustices being made in my case at the time. She is aggressive in a positive fashion and understands the application of Military Law and the UCMJ better than any attorney I had dealt with as a commissioned officer and commander in the military. Recently, I have come back into contact with Crystina, and she is representing me in a civil case. She still has the same work ethic in her capacity in the civilian sector as she did as a JAG Officer in the United States Army. She knows the law and how it should be applied and definieltely will assist a client when there is an injustice being done. She is a credit to the legal community and I would recomend her to anyone. She has definitely helped and been there for me. I could not ask for a better legal representative/attorney.
