Crystina has time and time again proven to be a an exceptional attorney with outstanding results. While in the military she represented soldiers onbehalf of the command presenting outstanding case preparation with high success ratios. I would chose her time and again to defend a soldier or civilian in a criminal law situation. She has also proven to be an expert in administrative law and always provided me with expert information allowing me, as a military commander to make the appropriate legal decision. I can't think of another attorney that I would select to represent a client in need of criminal defense or advice. She served not only as a United States military attorney providing clear, concise case advice and action to commanders in combat units, but continues to defend expertly in a civilian community. This is the attorney you need to represent your case or provide advice.

I hired Crystina to help me with a complicated case that i was extremely nervous about. The moment i walked in her office, i felt at ease. Her depth of knowledge and her passion for law and helping us in extremely frightening moments is very comforting. She was able to help me sort through everything, there is no way i could have gotten through that day in court without her. Extremely knowledgeable, relatable, and caring.

I have a unique case and have been in complete depression for the last 3 days wondering what false accusations could be thrown my way. After 5 minutes of talking to her on the phone, she made me feel at ease about my situation, re-iterated the fact that I was a victim, and advised me to reach out to her when needed and she'll have my back. In 20 minutes she lifted a huge burden off my shoulders, in which I felt like reaching through the phone and hugging her like I knew her. Thank you, Christina, you're now on my speed dial!!!! #simplythebest

I chose Crystina as my attorney because of her military background and figured we would share common ground as I was retired Navy. I was right, she was exactly what I wanted/needed. Not only is she aggressive in her style but extremely intelligent in court. Nothing, and I mean nothing slips by or goes unnoticed by her. She knew from the beginning that my case was a challenge and she rose to the occasion and her performance was flawless. Crystina makes herself very available to her clients. She will return every phone call and email. She will keep you in the loop as your case progresses through the system.
Crystina does not shy away from litigation and will not pressure you to take the plea deal. She loves a challenge and in my case, exceeded all expectations. I cannot say enough of how pleased I was with her performance as my attorney. Her firm is still small enough to where you are not just a client with a checkbook but a person who needs help.

I had been involved with a case in which I was indicted facing 5 to 25 years for a crime I did not commit. I was from out of town and never was in trouble in my life with the law. I had to continue to travel back and forth to VA to show up for court dates. I had an attorney prior to her but I was recommended to utilize her talents for my case. Her expertise in criminal law is impeccable. She is very detailed and very compassionate about her clients. Nevertheless, through the whole ordeal I came out with my case being dismissed and not having to be there for the dismissal, also my case was expunged. Her prices are affordable and she really works with you to get the best results. I’m grateful for her services and if anyone has any criminal issues in the VA area, I recommend you reach out to her.

Over the course of the last year and I half I have been going through a rough time in the Army. I was wrongfully accused of some things, the former unit command treated me like dirt and wouldn't afford me due process, the Army TDS was Counsel was ineffective, at the end of the day I day I thought my career was over. I decided to get on-line to find a civilian attorney. The Hampton Roads has numerous attorneys that deal with Navy and Air Force Law due to this area's saturation of such, but not many that deal with Army Law for servicemembers like myself. When Crystina met with me and took my case she jumped in feet first and assured me from the beginning that I would be o.k.. SHE DID NOT LIE! Mrs. O'brien fiercely engaged my command and was able to dissect with expert precision the erroneous documents my unit was forcing on me and placing in my records, she tirelessly researched all aspects of the case, wrote amazing and well versed appeals and rebuttals on my behalf, and really, really, really took the fight to my unit and was able to prove my innocence to a culminating seperation board in the end. I am so thankful to have someone on my side who doesn't back down and exhausts any means and long hours to help. I recommend her to anyone who need a great attorney, especially military servicemembers, she is a veteran and her military experice is invaluable. Crystina is a good hearted and caring person to work with, but when it is time to fight for you she is an absolute bulldog and that is what you need most!

She took time to understand not just the documents of my case but the background and situations that led up to my case. she was always in control of the case even when I thought it should go one way or another she had an early idea about her course of action and carefully crafted the case around what needed to be said and what needed to be heard. she handled the witnesses like a pro and helped me stay at ease - I trusted her and she did not fail.

I endorse this lawyer. Few attorneys are as willing as Crystina to go the extra mile for their clients. She is also an excellent mentor, always willing to answer questions from junior attorneys like myself seeking to get established. While I refer most of my family law and military law matters to Crystina, I am comfortable endorsing her in any of her practice areas because I know she will get the job done!
