I hired Mr. Hogge after my former employer appealed my unemployment. I was met by his office staff with the utmost respect and kindness. Mr. Hogge took time with me and explained exactly how we were going to proceed with the case. He was brilliant and I highly recommend him.

Because of Ray, I'm working again!
After going out on medical leave for a long-overdue procedure, my boss informed me that he wasn't holding my position which was devastating and an absolute shock. I've been with this company for 15 years and my employment record is spotless. Within the first few minutes of talking with Ray, I knew that I went to the right attorney's office. He knows the FMLA laws like the back of his hand and he immediately hit the ground running. Within weeks negotiations were started and my company, faced with a lawsuit, made the decision to reinstate me fully instead of facing Ray in the courtroom. I'm now back to work and grateful for Ray's expertise, kindness and patience.

Very pleased
I consulted with Mr. Hogge on what felt to me to be a complicated post employment situation. Just based on the initial consultation, he cut through all of the issues, answered every question clearly, explained Virginia employment law, and teased out where there was a potential case. He was friendly and down to earth, yet seemed to be an attorney that wouldn't waste time advocating for the client. We are considering our options in terms of hiring an attorney, if we do there is no doubt he will be the attorney we hire.

As a business owner for over 24 years, it is comforting to know that I have Ray as a resource I can turn to. He and his team have always been courteous, professional and results oriented. They get the job done and eliminate my worries. Ray has become one of our trusted advisors and someone I can turn to when issues arise. He is highly recommended.

Employment Discrimination
Mr. Hogge was quick to discern the critical issues and enact plans to remedy the problem. He is an interesting mix of bull dog and compassion. I think he is principled, too, which I find unique in this particular profession. Quite bright. Yes, he was successful with my case.

Disappointed
Mr Hogge contacted me about a year and a half ago, to testify on a current case. I agreed. They settled. He said he would represent me. He put me on hold to check his facts to see if I had a case and came back and told me I had a case. I signed paperwork, sent him all my documentation and he kept putting me on the back burner. He told me himself, that he was being lazy. He asked again for me to type up a document of 8 years worth of abuse. Finally, a year later. A year of having to relive this trauma again, he sends me a letter and says we have no case. He should have done his research before saying yes I had a case. A year~!!
