Review

I was hurt by a driver who ran a red light. The other driver was cited and convicted. His insurance company accepted liability and had already paid for some of my property damage. I contacted Hurley because I had injuries that were going to require surgery. He declined to take my case because I ...asked him what would happen if the other driver only had state minimum liability limits. Bear in mind that at that point, we still didn’t know what limits he had, but he refused to take the case based on my thinking that the other driver may have had minimum limits.

I recently read your review about when you contacted me in the past to discuss your case. I simply wanted to let you know that I generally do not get officially involved in a personal injury case unless I can truly help that person. In your comments, without discussing any confidential information, you indicated I would not take your case. I often talk to people who have severe injuries but, unfortunately, only minimal insurance coverage is available. Under those circumstances, I will always let them know that I may not be able to help them since they generally can receive the full insurance coverage available, because of their massive injuries, without having to pay any attorney fees or costs. Obviously, I would be willing to talk with you further if you want to give me a call. I wish you the best and a great recovery from your injuries.
