William is a native of Hampton Roads, who grew up in Chesapeake and graduated from Western Branch High. He left to attend the University of Virginia before heading to the University of Richmond for Law School. While in Richmond, he worked on Virginia procedure casebooks under Professor Bryson, represented indigent clients at legal services, and served with the Administrative Conference of the United States. William graduated cum laude from the University of Richmond. After law school he spent a year as a law clerk in the Virginia 15th Judicial Circuit learning the intricacies of the civil legal system in Virginia. William's practice focuses on estate law, family law, contract law, real estate law, as well as civil litigation. William often visits his two alma maters, and in the time he isn’t working in Norfolk, or traveling, he is an avid hiker, writer, and skier.
