Great advocate!

Ms. Bertini is excellent at her job. I have used her before and have recommended others to her. She extremely well versed in issues related to the higher education workplace. She gives her clients honest and straight forward advice, and is always looking out for their best interests. I will seek her ...out if ever the need arises.

Wrongful Termination Suit

I consulted with Mrs. Bertini regarding a wrongful termination suit. Mrs. Bertini understood what was happening, but unfortunately the place where I was employed did everything within the limits of the law to have me let go. However, Mrs. Bertini was appalled at how I was treated had written a lett...er to my place of employment and was able to obtain a better severance package for me due to this. Without Mrs. Bertini I would not have been able to obtain what was rightfully due to me. Mrs. Bertini is an honest lawyer with a good heart and will let you know if you have a case without costing you more money than you need to spend. I highly recommend Mrs. Bertini.

Excellent Attorney - Virginia Employment & Labor, Discrimination, Litigation

Lisa Bertini’s knowledge of Virginia Employment & Labor laws, Discrimination & Litigation is highly recognized by her peers and my family. Lisa was recommended her to me by two Virginia attorneys and a large Norfolk law firm. Her analytical abilities were clearly evident during my consultation. She ...analyzed the legal issues; applied her technical knowledge and knew the salient factors that ultimately drove a successful outcome. Lisa and her team adhere to the highest standards of Conduct. Ethics, reliability, responsiveness and open communication during the entire process. The quality of service provided by Lisa and her team was “priceless”. When considering “Value for the money” remember the following business definition: “Value for the Money” is a utility derived from every purchase or every sum of money spent. Value for money is based not only on the minimum purchase price (economy) but also on the maximum efficiency and effectiveness of the purchase. Thank you Lisa & staff of Bertini Law for closing one chapter of my life as I begin a new professional journey!

It Just Doesn't Get Any Better Than Lisa Bertini!

Lisa Bertini is, hands down, one of the smartest, toughest and most professional women I have ever met. She talks to you like you're an old friend & I never questioned her dedication to me or my case. Lisa was always very candid with me about what to expect while going through the EEOC process. I ...was never unsure of what was going on or what could happen next. She took time to make sure I was prepared to give a confident, accurate testimony and made me feel at ease in what should be a very stressful situation. I am so thankful that I was referred to Lisa after my wrongful termination. She listened to my story, empathized with my situation and fought hard to make sure I was compensated for troubles. In the end, I left Lisa's office with an incredible outcome - far more than I expected when I started the process. She is a brilliant attorney & genuinely good person. Although, I hope I never have to work with her again under the same circumstances, I hope our paths cross again because she is an amazing women that I will never forget.

Wish we had our 300.00 back - Not worth the money - No help whatsoever

She had the attitude that she did not care. Acted more sympathetic to the employer than me. She made no effort to help me. Everything is not about being able to sue. Sometimes you need good input and advice. She didn;t even offer to write a letter on my behalf. she just didn't care and it showe...d.

Unfortunately I have to deliver bad news as part of my job. Often that bad news is that the person who has come in complaining has no case recognizable under Virginia law. This is always unwelcome and challenging. I never have been aloof or uncaring. I am direct and transparent though. I believe I am ethically responsible to tell the consult exactly what his/ her chances are. That is what happened here. I wish this person good luck but the answer is the answer.
