Lisa reviewed and offered her suggestions of the initial agreement. At first she advised me against signing since it was not a severance agreement at all, but an agreement to work another month with pay and give up my legal rights I may have against my employer. After consulting with her over severa...l days, she proposed several new paragraphs in the agreement whereby I was to be paid a severance after my last day of employment and a bonus due from the previous year.
