Started an inter-state adoption, moved to a local adoption. We did an international adoption (from Bangladesh) last year. Bangladesh laws do not allow adoption, only grant guardianship to its citizen. I obtained guardianship of a minor from the Family Court of Bangladesh. Adoption has to be finalized here in Virginia. So I hired Ms. Colleen.
