Mr. Furlong's understudy reviewed my case, which turned out to be a rather difficult one to sway in my favor. They were both familiar with local laws and pulled out two choices for how to reduce my charge. They also damage-controlled before the hearing so I wouldn't be upset if my case did not turn o...ut as hoped. He looked over my case briefly, consulted with his understudy, then the officer on my case, before we went into the courtroom. After a few other hearings before mine, I was called up, and he went to speak with the judge. The judge, officer, and my lawyer seemed to have an unspoken understanding not to go into specifics on my case. Despite the normally difficult Stafford county legal system and a tough judge, from what he told me, plus an indecent driving record, the case went smoothly and quickly and my charges were dismissed with only driving school.
