Ms. Wade is an Alexandria, Virginia native, graduating from Mount Vernon High School in 2000.  After graduating from the University of Richmond School of Law, Ms. Wade worked for more than five years at the Public Defender's Office for Fauquier and Rappahannock Counties.  There she represented clients charged with a wide range of offenses from traffic offenses to serious felonies such as aggravated malicious wounding, drug distribution, and sex crimes.  Ms. Wade has tried twenty jury trials and hundreds of bench trials.  Additionally, Ms. Wade has experience handling appeals and has appeared numerous times at the Court of Appeals of Virginia and the Supreme Court of Virginia.

Ms. Wade speaks fluent Spanish and has represented over 100 native Spanish speakers, helping them through the legal process in their native language and is knowledgeable about the immigration consequences of any criminal convictions.

I found Ms Rebecca Wade on Avvo and honestly, I am apprehensive of seeing high ratings sometimes but I decided to give her a call. I had just found out my lawyer who was going to represent me had unfortunately passed away. Ms Wade was very understanding and took my case on. She was very responsive and was open and honest about the options before me and what she was able to do for me with regard to my child support case. I was very pleased with the outcome. If you're looking for a lawyer who cares, listens, is responsive and open and honest then you got that in Ms Wade. I highly recommend her. I definitely will use her again should I need a lawyer in the future.

Words really can't describe the level of professionalism and expertise Attorney Wade possesses. I had a nightmare divorce/custody case that carried over from North Carolina for a total of four years. At the time I came in contact with Attorney Wade I was on my fourth lawyer and I spent almost 20k in legal fees. In time, I had become a "professional court testifier" and became very familiar with the legal process. I knew a good attorney when I saw one. I did my research and Attorney Wade had pedigree (which I heavily believe in) and I read several Washington Post articles that she was profiled in. I was impressed. When I had my first consult with Attorney Wade, I knew I struck gold. She was able to listen to my concerns, see the big picture, and she dissected 3 years of my litigation timeline in 45 mins. A tentative gameplan was formulated and the strengths and weaknesses of my case were discussed. We worked together as a team and when it was time to make strategic decisions, she always had a plan in mind and I often agreed with her and we proceeded accordingly. She never blew me off. She responded to my emails and telephone calls within a very reasonable time. Even when she was caring for a sick family member she still found the time to respond. In short, Attorney Wade managed to convince my ex-wife and opposing counsel to a consent agreement that really benefited me and my children. I'm so happy and pleased with the overall process and result of my case. Attorney Wade will always be my attorney as long as she is practicing and I'm a resident of Virgina. Reckless driving

Rebecca Wade was referred to me by a family member in the law business. Right off the bat she explained to me what my possible outcomes would be for my case. She clearly knows what she's doing because when we got to court in the morning, she talked to the prosecutor and made a deal with him, I received no jail time and no licensee suspension but a reasonable fine. I would 10/10 recommend Rebecca Wade!

Attorney Wade was an excellent choice as an attorney, and I could tell right from the beginning that she was genuinely interested in my case from the moment that I first met with her. Not having any knowledge of the case, and me doing some learning of my own, we were able to effectively present the case and have all the charges dismissed, with a motion to strike all of the prosecution's evidence. It was amazing to see that someone who was not family actually cared about my personal being, and about my reputation, and Wade made sure that she represented me to the best of her ability. She never once referred me to another person, and always stayed in constant contact with me regarding details of the case, and anything that had to be discussed. She was friendly, extremely professional, and even though she was busy (as I'm sure most attorneys are) she still found time to check in on me and to make sure I was okay. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that is looking for a great attorney that will stand by your side, and fight the case until it is dismissed and won on your behalf. I was a little hesitant at first about working with her, as she came out and stated that she had no experience with the charge I was being charged with, but together, we were able to show that there was no grounds to charge on, and the case was dismissed. Awesome job!

Rebecca Wade was great from start to finish. She is always on top of everything and keep reminding you of things you have to do as a client. And for a busy business owner that's what I need. She made sure months later that you don't forget to do what you need to for the case. In court I could tell she was well respected by everyone in the court room from the prosecutors to the Judge and that felt good. And of course she got the case dismissed! She got me results that another lawyer would not have been able to do.
