|VA||Authorized to practice law||2008||02/13/2017|
This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
An admonition means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar gives the lawyer an admonition in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
Arthur’s comment: “The subject misconduct was the prosecution of what was found to be an unwarranted tortious interference claim against a lawyer whose conduct the court found was privileged.”

My company, Potomac Photonics, Inc., has used Arthur Kahn for legal work especially related to a dispute with a company; and we have used him for other legal support. We have also used him for matters related to our respective businesses. We are 100% satisfied with his work including his knowledge of the profession, what has the historical record shown, ability to characterize complaintants, understand the issues, and most importantly, with this knowledge, know how to win. We have found him to be knowledgeable, thorough and successful (with assisting us get justice) in a professional manner. we would recommend him to anyone who wants a professional job and wants a high probability of winning a dispute.

I found him arrogant and difficult to work with , showed little client compassion and shot from the hip. He was knowledgeable on some things but did not spend enough time on the factual evidence. I put a lot of work and preparation into it myself and felt I had made it easy for him. We lost on too many stupid issues , that we should have won . We hired him on a friends recommendation. Had I known prior that he had been disciplined by the bar association I would have exercised more caution and maybe asked for a references or two.
This is why sites like yours are a great public resource , especially now that you have made your site more visible on the net than ever before.

We hired this attorney some time ago to defend us in a very straightforward matter.
By the time he was done he had made it an antagonistic mess for all parties.
He alienated the judge as well as the opposing counsel. His fees were exorbitant and strategies " out there". A costly disappointment.

Relationship: Worked for lawyer
Without reservation,I recommend Mr. Kahn to any client.fortunate enough to retain his services in varied areas of litigation,dispute resolution,arbitration and risk assessment. Arthur is the most skillful attorney in the foregoing fields that I have had the satisfaction of working with and being represented by in over 45 years of practice. Mr. Kahn is a dogged,persistent and law-learned champion of his clients to the extent that I think of him first off when referring clients of my business practice when they encounter litigation-related issues.
