I had a question about my employment and tax obligations to a person who is helping with driving my son to and from school. I wanted to make sure I was following all applicable laws and doing right by the person helping us. Tom gave very helpful advice by quickly and took time to answer questions. Highly recommend!

I was looking legal representation after being wrongfully terminated. An attorney in a different field gave me his contact. I reached his office, they were quick to schedule the intake. Then they sent a quote and made the payment. Here is were things went down. As soon they collected the money the pace and communication changed. The person assigned to my case even didn’t speak with me. All was handled through other person who has no legal nor academic background! When I had a question they sent me information that I could just simply google it myself without being charged ‘attorney fees’. Because I was referred to attorney Sppigle I decided to sent an email directly to him. In response I got a warning from his office saying I was in violation of the agreement. So what is the purpose to hire an attorney when you will not be allowed to have any communication with him? I reached his practice because the referral about him and not because his staff. If you need legal services, look for someone else and stay away from this arrogant and authoritarian who has no respect for his clients. He will just grab your money and drain the whole budget.

Although I didn't pursue my lawsuit with this firm. I was very impressed with their customer service. Mr. Spiggle is very understanding, and he cares about their clients and the firm's reputation. Jo Anne Blackmon provided me an excellent professional service all the way. She went above and beyond to accommodate my needs.

Consult was good but it started off with attorney reading from a different case file. At the conclusion, he said he would call me the next day to receive my decision. That call never came. Not honoring that commitment is not good customer relations in my view, especially when the price tag for a consult is on the steep end at $465. I guess after the charge went through, and they had my money, their commitment was over. This is why my rating is average.

Tom Spiggle and his team provided outstanding legal services to our family in a very unexpected and challenging employment situation. When something traumatic happens at work it impacts all aspects of your life. You need to hire legal representation to guide you through a confusing and complex process. Tom and firm provided us with careful, experienced, tactical advice while also giving us much needed comfort, stability and confidence. Tom and team weighed carefully the complexities of our case and spent considerable time planning and then executing next steps. They took away most of the pressure and stress which allowed us to get back on our feet while the legal process advanced. Tom became our fiercest defender and advocate. The respect he has within the legal community of being a tireless, formidable advocate for clients was a differentiator. The team performed an impressive level of legal due diligence, research, and are highly skilled in civil precedence and procedure. From the outset Tom and his team treated us with compassion, respect, kindness and professionalism. They were highly attentive and responsive no matter the day or time. And Tom was very competitive and fair with us on the legal costs for which we are grateful. The Spiggle Law Firm was the first legal firm we ever hired and there is no doubt that we made the absolute correct choice.

I came to Spiggle Law Firm during a trying and difficult situation after returning from maternity leave. I suspected my employer's actions were illegal but I needed a honest assessment of my case. I needed someone to help me who was a master in this area of law. Tom's knowledge and expertise of employment law helped me find the best way forward and negotiate a helpful severance package that made it possible to leave my organization. For me, however, Tom's humanity and compassion set him and his firm apart from any other firms I'd contacted. Hostile work situations are devastating, especially when you are leaving a new baby at home, and by the time I got to Spiggle Law Firm I was pretty spent emotionally. After my consultation with Tom, I just felt so supported and affirmed. Regardless of whether I decided to proceed with legal action, I felt like my meeting with him helped me rebuild my confidence and gave me a way forward where I could do what was best for me and my family. He is a true advocate in every sense of the word and I whole-heartly recommend him and his firm for both their employment and human expertise.

Having Tom Spiggle in my corner at a very difficult time was a great comfort and a blessing. Tom helped me to negotiate an exit package with my employer that more than tripled their initial offer.
Severance was not something I had given any thought to, but when it came into play it was suddenly vital to know the law and also common practices for comparable organizations. I had no idea if what my employer was offering me was a generous or even a fair package, and I certainly did not know the pertinent law. Armed with that information and under Tom’s guidance I was able to enter into negotiations confidently and well-informed.
I would strongly recommend The Spiggle Law Firm to anyone going through severance negotiations or any other type of workplace issues.

My negative employment situation was frustrating and scary. Before I met with Tom, I was concerned about adding fuel to the fire (making my situation worse). I was extremely nervous. Speaking with Tom, I must have rambled on for miles explaining my situation (and outlining how unsure I was about my situation). I really didn't know where to start. Tom listened carefully and strategically sorted through all of the information I dumped on his ears and provided excellent guidance. I left his office calm, with a plan, and feeling much better about myself. Tom understood the emotional element involved with being in a poor employment environment, and he gave me solid tips on how to handle other workplace situations that would likely surface in the days ahead. More importantly, he didn't sugarcoat his feedback. He explained the mechanics of employment law (but with my specific situation in mind). My primary problem was I did not know what to do. Tom's tactical guidance solved that issue for me. I'm in a much better place because of it.

As signs indicated that I could be passed over for promotion I consulted Tom. He asked great questions, made me feel like I had a legitimate concern that the oversight was very possibly gender discrimination. He clearly explained what my options were and what the potential outcomes were for each action. I was also made to feel very comfortable that the decision on which option to take was my call. There was no wrong direction to go in. I appreciate his knowledge, listening, thorough explanation and recommendations. Given the need I would call him in a second! I would highly recommend utilizing his services for consulting and litigation if there is any thought of gender discrimination.
