I had a good driving record (no tickets in the last 10-15 years) but I made a mistake and was caught (passing on the shoulder on I-395). Alex was recommended by another lawyer that my sister had referred me to (the other lawyer did not practice in Arlington County). He made no big claims but put... me at ease that possibilities were good. He had me take a defensive driving course, had me look up and send my driving record and that was it. One of my worries was a vacation I was planning to go on, with my assigned court date being in the middle of it. But Alex had me sign a power of attorney and in fact said sometimes its even better for only him to show up at court. He then did have the date changed, and even though I was available on the next date, in concurrence with Alex, I didn't go to the court. I was beyond just happy to get his text later that day that my charge was reduced to a faulty equipment with $172 fine (including cc fee etc). While I intend to not make mistakes in the future, I knew my cleaner driving record would help me in case I do end up in a situation like this..... On top of having retained my driving record, I now know a guy who can make this process very painless with the best outcome as well...
