I was asking a friend to testify against her friends in my tort lawsuit, since she knew a lot of evidence. But she was asking me what she would get out of it? I do not think it is legal for her to ask something for return out of her witness, what ...
What you wrote here does not indicates she is asking for something in return.
You may have the court issue a subpoena.
However, be careful what you ask for--a pissed-off witness won't be helpful to you if you don't know how to be a trial attorney.See question
I am dealing with a mediation and which per the agreement I am not allowed to talk about the company I am not allowed to disclose anything I can't disclose how much was offered what I'm wondering is if the opposing attorney has to take into accoun...
Yes, if you sign an agreement not to disclose the terms, and you then disclose the terms, you may be held liable. The defense that it was an 'accidental disclosure' will afford you no safe harbor.
Sounds like you do not have an attorney? Get one before you sign anything.See question
I'm 16 and she's 14 I was told by a adult I could get in serious trouble if anything happened.
If you are not old enough to use terms associated with sexual intercourse, you are not old enough to be engaged in it. That is what you mean by "relationship' and 'anything' right?
Yes ,you can get in trouble, you could impregnate her and find yourself with child support payments and child rearing obligations for the next few decades. You might be charged with criminal acts. You might become a registered sex offender---good luck finding a job, place to live, student loans with that albatross around your neck.
There are in your state defenses to such charges and you might be able to successfully defend against criminal or civil suits, but that will cost money, time, and have other impacts in your life that are unintended and not without their own consequence.See question
I went in to this mom and pop car lot the other day. And signed paperwork which i was lead to believe was to get the car off the lot. Come to find out there is no such thing. I took it to a mechanic and he told me that it had in fact been in a acc...
The contract you signed will be controlling as to your legal obligations.
You said you left the car there---but you also said you 'took' it to a mechanic--so you must've left the lot with the car?
Good for you for not paying yet that forces the dealer to have to sue you instead of other way around. Likely you can work something out since you have not paid and the dealers only option is to threaten to sue you (or they will make noises like they are going to call the police and report the car stolen---common when people take the car, less likely when you have returned it).
Communicate with the car dealer--if they claim the are going to sue, get a local attorney to interact for you--likely you can find one for a couple hundred bucks who will write a letter, or call them---that attorney will want to read your contact and determine what you signed the degree of exposure you have is you are sued.
Rule of thumb in VA is : buyer beware. If you signed a valid contract, good car or not, you will be held to that contract by a court.See question

16 year old dating a 25 year old .. with consent of the minor parent
Depends on the state.
Such a relationship, if sexual, would be a felony in my state and the 25 year old would be a registered sex offender for life. I suspect that such a relationship in NY is a crime as well and a parent consenting to such activity could be charged with child abuse. Parent and child should speak with an attorney in the sanctity of a NY family law attorneys office.See question

Did you call the police? Did you report this assault? Was it an act of violence or did it occur at a baseball game? Did this happen last week last month or six years ago? Your baby's mother leaving you has nothing to do with the matter. Can you repost with a couple more details so you can get more nuanced responses?See question
