I've been in a domestic violence marriage for eleven years married but fifteen all together I finally had enough and called the L. P. D. on him when he pushed me for the last time as soon as he was gone my landlord started harassing me by threat...
LL would be committing a crime in every state I know of if he shuts off water and changes locks. Only a court can evict, LL has no power to do so.
Contact police again if the LL threatens violence.
Contact a local landlord tenant attorney ASAP.See question
My id is expired and I need a valid ID to get a job
You have got some sand--asking the state for ID when the State is looking to arrest you!!
What makes you think your new employer wouldn't do a background and find out you had active warrants .
Smart move would be to take care of the warrant before you get hired, arrested, then fired. At least you can maintain some control over the process.See question
Married for 29 years, but only 9yrs, 7mos while he was active duty. He is also retired Civil Service and receives Social Security.
Assuming you are divorcing; divorce is a state law matter. No Federal law automatically entitles a former spouse to a portion of a member’s military retired pay. A former spouse must be awarded a portion of a member’s military retired pay in a State court.See question
About 2 months ago my niece bought a car from a private party. After she bought the car, she figured out that the private seller lied about the mileage! The woman said it had 8,000 less miles than it did. Also, she told my niece, "it just had a co...
Has nothing to do with a lemon law--which deals with new cars. Your niece may have to sue. If all each has is their word against the others--your niece will have an uphill fight. In future she should have a certified mechanic do a pre-purchase inspection: should cost $100 or so. Would have saved a lot of time, money, and aggravation.See question
Over the past few months i signed loans for several expensive items with my then boyfriend. That has taken and hid these items from me. The truck and camper are 100% in my name including the loan. We signed promissory notes but i have still had t...
You cannot take, sell, trash or hold any of his "stuff"--could get YOU sued. The reason promissory notes exist is so they can be used as evidence of the debt. Sue in court on the notes. Sounds like you are the one who took all the risks....that should have been a red flag--now you see it for what it is. It will be on you to stand on your rights in court.See question

I was sentenced on 9-7-2016. My attorney refused to take my case to trial. He refused to file motions no matter how many times I insisted. He called my family and told them to not bail me out. I took a plea to get out of jail so I could fight thi...
The attorney who knows much more about your case then we do refused to take your case to trial: that is not good and would tend to indicate that the state has a very strong case. Your attorney is was not obligated to file motions you thought were important. Many accused parties believe themselves to be a "co-counsel" and want to direct their attorneys every move, kind of like instructing your doctor how to conduct your surgery while you're in the operating room. If I read your post properly you say you pled guilty, swore before a court your guilt, so that you can get out and prove you were not guilty… That doesn't make much sense. Only thing you can do now is speak to a Michigan appeals attorney, criminal appeals, but I suspect you will find none to take your case. I do wish you the best of luck.See question
Yeah my lawyer sucks and hasn't contacted me to let me know any details or information about the lawsuit for my car accident
Then why don't you contact your attorney? Here she is the only person you should seek out to ask about the status of your case.See question
