Best in the area!

We recently had the pleasure to work with Raj Dua, and he truly exceeded our expectations by leaps and bounds. He represented a family member who had received several careless speeding tickets, and was at risk of ruining their driving record and dealing with the harsh consequences that go along with ...that. Raj knew exactly how to avoid this from happening, and he swiftly took care of things. He obviously has relationships and connections, and is well respected in the courtroom. His advice and approach to our situation were spot on. We cannot recommend him enough.

A lawyer that knows the law

i wanted a lawyer that would keep me from making mistakes during the process. Mr. Dua not only did that but he used his knowledge of the law and the court systems to get me a very pleasant result. I was very fortunate to have had him defending me. I highly recommend him if you are looking for an a...ttorney, he will not disappoint.

Recommend without reservation!

Driving through Loudoun County, VA near Leesburg on a Thanksgiving trip to visit my daughter on a 4-lane highway, I made a snap decision to continue to pass a gentleman on my right who had sped up as I began to pass him. This unfortunate decision resulted in my exceeding the posted speed limit by 21... MPH. The officer provided me with a summons for Reckless Driving , the penalty for 20+ MPH in excess of the posted limit. An officer pulled me over and issued what I thought was a ticket. Unfortunately, it was a Summons and included a court date to appear the following February. Since this all occurred as the holiday weekend began and we made the 400+ mile return trip home on Sunday, there wasn’t an opportunity to do anything about it. Once I researched/understood the details and implications, it was clear that I needed an attorney. Along with the February Court appearance, maximum possible penalties included up to 12 months in jail, a $2,500 fine, insurance cost increases and a criminal entry on my driving record. I began researching attorneys in Virginia and also began receiving letters from attorneys offering their services. Based on the research, I chose Raj Dua to represent me. He specializes in traffic cases, has long-term expertise and research yielded a surprisingly large number of extremely positive reviews reflecting outstanding results. I called & left a message. Raj not only returned the message, but did so at 8:30 PM, well after business hours when he should have been enjoying some downtime. He was professional, articulate and confident and laid out the details of what I was facing. He then explained what the options were and, based on his experience, what the likely outcome would be with a range of probable final solutions – all ending in a much better place than where I was starting (very accurate prediction, BTW). Plus, he would represent me in court, relieving me of the burden of making an 800+ mile round trip in the dead of winter. I hired him for the job. He also called a few days before the court date to let me know he was still there and reassure me that he would handle everything on court day. Yesterday, following court, Raj called and let me know that the he had negotiated the charge from the original “Reckless Driving” and also bypassed the next tier of “Speeding” (both having much worse implications for driving records, insurance cost increases and the size of the fine) on the way to a final reduced charge of “Fail to Obey a Traffic Sign”. And the resultant fine for the final charge was negotiated to less than the maximum it could have been. Based on my experience, and without reservation, I highly recommended Raj for his expertise, ability, demeanor and professionalism. If you find yourself in a similar situation for traffic violations in Northern Virginia and need extremely capable representation, he should be at the top of your list.

Reckless Driving Ticket

I am from Boston , I got a Reckless Driving Ticket, when i was on Business trip to Virginia . The next day i contacted so many lawyers to talk about my case. but no one has given me exact information , how they will proceed further and all. Then I contacted Raj , He gave a over-view of the process... , how he is gonna handle the case. he asked me to do some things, which will support my case and he guided very nicely in every aspect of case. On the Hearing day, he is so positive about the case and make my life easier and made sure that , i didn't go to jail. which helped me a lot . RAJ - Excellent Lawyer , he listens to all your problems with so much of patience .
