I was in a serious bind, and frankly, quite frantic. I had already contacted a criminal attorney, and she recommended Paul to manage the insurance side of the house. Having already had an incredible experience with my criminal attorney, I took her up on the recommendation. Birds of a feather, as it... was. Paul was just fantastic. I have had experience with other attorneys in the past, supposedly good ones, but I have never had an experience even close to the one that I had with Paul (with the exception of the one who recommended Paul to me). When I called, he answered. If unavailable, Paul would call back almost immediately. Paul was straightforward, not telling me what I wanted to hear, but what I needed to hear. At the same time, he was incredibly courteous, professional, and sympathetic (if not at times, empathetic) to my situation (and to my anxiety). He would send invoices each month detailing hours spent, and those that were billable and non-billable against the retainer. At the conclusion of my case, I tried to have Paul keep the non-billable hours for his discretion as a huge thank you, and he declined (after several attempts, even!).
