Mr. Simms is by far the best attorney I have ever had to represent me. I was charged with a petit larceny charge, that could have cost me my entire life. It was a “wrong place, wrong time” kind of circumstance. He drove 4 hours to represent me, and that alone, shows what kind of attorney he is. He c...ould have told me to get someone closer, but instead he made the trip, and I am beyond thankful that he did. He got me a dismissal of my charges! Jonathan Simms is an amazing attorney. He is very experienced and has knowledge about many different legal principles, cases, and issues. He is easy to reach and responds quickly to emails. Mr.Simms took a case , (that in his defense) that few lawyers have knowledge of. I think I could have looked harder for a more experienced lawyer that knew a more about my type of case. It's a Federal Analogue Act case . So he did his due diligence of homework . Theres a couple things that I'm disap...pointed in . 1. Seemed he was in trial when I called and hardly responded to me . I was in county jail for 2 years and saw him twice and spoke maybe once. 2. He would say " I'm waiting to hear back from the prosecutor " which I cannot prove was the truth or not . But were in a little town like Harrisonburg Virigina , the federal prosecutors aren't overwhelmed with big cases. I assume since he didn't normally work out of this area , that maybe I was on the "back burner". 3. I think he should've fought harder for me at sentencing. John and I were never on the same page.

I had the pleasure of having Mr Jonathan Simms represent me in a very complicated and a serious case. His extra-ordinary level of Intelligence, Analytical Skills, Attention to details and Acumen of this field were the greatest advantages in my case.
