DWI Charge

I thought I would be smart and interview several prominent attorneys. Most of the attorneys spent the time telling me how good they were. Mandeep spent the time telling me what I could expect and the outcome he was certain he could get for me. I received the best outcome I could realistically expect.... The one he told me he would fight for. His knowledge of the principals and system put me in the best position. I would recommend Mandeep Chhabra and his firm to anyone and every one with supreme confidence in doing so.

DWI/DUI

I was charged with a combination of 6 charges resulting from an automobile accident. The most severe charge was DUI. Mr. Chhabra and Raquel Smith were able to get the best possible outcome. Their professionalism, empathy and caring showed throughout the process. I was kept informed of every step bei...ng made on my behalf. I would highly recommend them to anyone who finds themselves needing an attorney. THE BEST!!

Amazing Outcome

I got pulled over twice in less than a month and was issued 15 tickets in total for infractions ranging from 'driving vehicle without adequate rear reg plate illumination....' to 'driving vehicle with an expired license....' I got really worried about the situation and starting preparing for two c...ourt dates. I spoke with two attorneys about my case but they weren't totally supportive and convincing of a favorable outcome, so I decided to stop speaking to anyone at all. About a week before the first court date, I chanced upon Mr Chabra's website and I must say, the minute I spoke with him, I knew everything was gonna be handled. He successfully killed the cases and in the end I only had to pay a small fine, a negligible amount compared to the total ticket amount. I mean a really small fine out of 15 tickets issued! The man knows his job and heck I'd recommend him any day to anyone who needs help and a gracious outcome. For someone starting out young, I wouldn't want to have all these tickets go on my driving and public record. We all know how much of a hindrance to a lot of things these can be. I'm very appreciative of his work and I'd give him a 6 out of 5 if that was possible. Thank you so much sir!

Mr Chhabra is an excellent and exceptional lawyer

It is with great delight that I am writing this review for Mr Chhabra. He was incredibly reassuring and thoroughly professional in handling my DUI case. I was made aware of Mr Chhabra through Avvo. I read a handful of reviews and felt confident that he might be the best person to help me out with my... case. I called him and explained that due to my work schedule, I will only be able to meet him on Saturday. He immediately agreed to make time to meet him on a Saturday. I went to his office and gave him the details of my case. I was pulled over for speeding and swerving excessively. The police officer explained to me that a couple of people called 911 to express concerns about the way I was driving. After asking me to perform a multitude of tests to determine my level of intoxication, the police officer asked me to take a breathalyzer test. I refused and thus, he arrested me and charged me with reckless driving, speeding and DUI/DWI. This was the second time I was charged with a DUI in a span of about 8 years. To make matters worse, I have a job that requires me to possess a clean driving record and a DUI conviction means that I will automatically be terminated. I explained to Mr Chhabra that I could not afford to lose my job and that the barometer for how well he represents me is contingent on me keeping my job. It is with a great sense of gratitude that I am happy to write that Mr. Chhabra managed to get me Probation Before Judgement on my 2nd DUI and thus, I was able to keep my job. I am greatful for his hard work and the dedication he exhibited while handling my case. Furthermore, let me enumerate the actions and conduct of Mr. Chhabra that makes me feel like I had the best lawyer taking care of me. 1.) Mr. Chhabra gave me his personal cellphone number. He told me I could text him anytime. I texted him whenever I was anxious and everytime, he reassured me that he was doing his best to look out for me. 2.) A couple of days before Christmas, I texted Mr Chhabra because I had concerned about being able to pay the money I owed him in order for him to enter his appearance on my behalf. Mr Chhabra texted back and agreed to a $500 discount on the amount we initially agreed on. I was exceptionally greatful because I was short on rent and didn't have any money to buy gifts to put under the Christmas tree for my daughter. 3.) He held me accountable for my actions. Mr Chhabra politely explained to me that a 2nd DUI means that I have a drinking problem. He wasn't condescending in the way he conveyed his opinion about my drinking. He simply explained to me the fact as highlighted by my two DUI's and made the case that it was best for me to seek treatment and abstain from drinking. 4.) Mr Chhabra will persist and fight for you. When we first went to court, Mr Chhabra told me that he had a plea deal with the prosecutor for Probation before Judgement and a weekend in jail. He said, however, that he thought the judge would not go along with the plea deal but convict me outright instead. He suggested to move for a jury trial in the hopes of getting a judge that might be more sympathetic to accepting the plea deal during the conference meeting to set a trial date. Due to the fact that we established a rapport based on trust, I went along with his suggestion. Needless to say, Mr Chhabra was correct in having my case be heard by another judge. When we went in front of the other judge, somehow, the new prosecutor rescinded the plea deal and wanted me to be convicted outright and serve some jail time. Mr Chhabra said don't worry about it. When we went in front of the judge, Mr Chhabra convinced the judge to give me Probation before Judgement with NO jail time at all which means that I get to keep my job. Thank you Mr Chhabra.
