A little more than a year ago I was charged with DUI and related offenses. I was beyond distraught. Not only was I confused and embarrassed, but I was at risk of losing a job I love. From a strategy standpoint, I loved (and appreciated) the fact that he had a strategy for a successful outcome for me since day one, refined it as more facts arose, and parlayed it, along with his other skills, to maximum impact. Communication skills? He’s got that in spades. He talks with you, not to you, treating you like a friend. He is empathic, which is greatly needed during a terrible experience. He is similarly great at communicating the “how” he plans on getting you the result, as opposed to just the expected result itself. Last, but certainly not least, is results. Hey, at the end of the day, we go to an attorney hoping for the best possible result. From day one, I told Mandeep that, above all else, I wanted to be able to retain my security clearance job and in Court do the absolute best we can. Here was the outcome: kept my job (in fact, because of his personal encouragement to me over the year-long ordeal, I thrived and obtained a bonus!), was acquitted at my MVA hearing, and at my district court hearing we got every single criminal charge dismissed. Mr. Chhabra was absolutely the best money I never wanted to spend. From the moment I received my DUI charges I was having daily panic attacks about how this was going to effect my life and what the steps were that I needed to complete. I spent days looking and reviewing lawyers, sending email inquiri...es that some I never received replies to. A friend of mine recommended Mr. Chhabra's law firm after a previous incident he had with his wife. I requested an interview with Mr. Chhabra and instantly received a phone call, and after explaining my situation Mr. Chhabra stated that he was busy but he could make time to meet with me. While I am not proud of the situation I am very happy to have met Mr. Chhabra and to have had him represent me. While I plan on never using Mr. Chhabra again, I would absolutely refer him to anyone who needs a lawyer who will do everything for his client to get the best outcome.
