I hired Ms. Alexander about 3 years ago to help out with a small offense, failure to obey police. I lived about 30min from Annapolis at the time. After finding Ms. Alexander on her firm's website, she worked with me to get communications done by phone and e-mail. There was 1 flat fee, and they let me split the payments (2nd half due just before court date I think). She had me complete community service preemptively, and the judge thought that was good enough and dismissed the case! Great work- very happy.

Hire Jennifer Alexander. You're reading this because you most likely need a criminal defense attorney, a really good one. Jennifer Alexander prosecutes the prosecutions case, finding all the details that unravel any attempt to prosecute you.
When we walked into court, the Assiststant State's attorney knew who she was and knew she was excellent. Ms. Alexander's presence was complimented by overwhelming the prosecution with facts or details that exposed glaring holes in their case. She was very reassuring at trial and did a great job in preparing me for it and also explaining the varying options I may face. Jennifer Alexander fights for you! She doesn't miss a beat.
Being a former NCAA basketball player underlines her intangibles. Ms. Alexander reads people extremely well, her social thermometer is exactly what you want in an attorney. Her court sense -seeing the whole court and movements through it- keep her one step ahead of the prosecution. Watching her take everything was exciting.
We met once before trial.,at this meeting we discussed the case and why she didn't think the a prosecution could make their case. She immediately filed a number of motions that helped me.
We spoke on the phone a few times and emailed a bit. She always emailed me back with information or advice. Ms. Alexander also sent important documents of the case very quickly. Her continual response to my questions made me feel legally protected. The Law can move slowly and the slowness may sometimes play with one. Feeling legally protected is a great asset through a legal ordeal. Simply, you'll count your lucky stars having her in your court. I did. Jennifer Alexander is your best bet in getting the best Justice will give.

Do yourself a favor and hire Jennifer. She is the real deal. She put me at ease throughout the process of my cases, made it clear what I should expect, then exceeded those expectations. I also recommended her to an acquaintance of mine, they went out of their way to come back to thank me for that recommendation. I originally found her here on Avvo and noticed she was highly regarded. There is a reason she has a 5 star rating. Mark my words, you will be happy you hired her.
I have known Jennifer for almost fifteen years and have referred several clients to her. Each referred client has reported to me that they were grateful for her knowledge, responsiveness and advocacy. I would not hesitate to refer clients to her again in the future.
