Ms. Stampfer's practice focuses on: estate planning and administration, trusts, and elder law matters; business planning and general corporate work; contracts, employment issues and real property sales and acquisitions. She received her B.A. from Columbia University in 1988 and her J.D. from Boston University in 1993. She was admitted to practice in Massachusetts in 1993 (retired), the District of Columbia in 1995 and Maryland in 2011.
Before moving to Baltimore from Boston in 1999, Ms. Stampfer's practice focused on health care law. As a Health Law Consultant and Special Counsel to the Massachusetts Hospital Association, the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine, and other medical organizations, Ms. Stampfer assisted her clients with health policy issues such as managed care, practice guideline development and implementation, public disclosure of physician information, regulatory issues, and health care fraud and abuse.
After moving to Baltimore, Ms. Stampfer was a stay-at-home mom for several years and then served as Admission Associate, Grades K-4, at the Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School for 4 1/2 years. She returned to the practice of law in 2009.
