You have definitely done your homework. Be aware that some judges are reluctant to offer a PBJ to defendants who are not present in Court even though the law allows an attorney to appear on their behalf.
As for you being told attorneys fees are 2-3 times $500 maximum fine ($1000-$1500) I suggest you continue contacting attorneys until you find one that fits your budget. You shouldn't have a problem finding one. Your case doesn't seem complex and an attorney can be of great assistance in protecting your driving record.See question

I can't be 100% certain from the phrasing of your question, but, it seems as though you were charged in Florida. If you are seeking information regarding the expungement of juvenile records in FLORIDA, it would be best to obtain information from a Florida attorney.
If you are seeking juvenile expungement for Maryland, it can be done. Maryland Code, Courts and Judicial Proceedings, § 3-8A-27.1 is the statute that controls and is very clear.
I would hope Florida has a similar law.

The peace order will automatically expire after 6 months, however, be aware that it can be extended for an additional six (6) months for good cause, after notice to parties and hearing.
You might wish to speak to an attorney to determine if you have a right to appeal, and what the effects would be. Appeals can be impacted by whether or not you had a hearing and lost versus consenting to the entry of the order.
Good Luck and be aware that failure to comply with the terms of the order are criminal in nature and carry jail time.See question
I fired a gun and was arrested but no weapon was found on me, can I be charged with possession
You have been charged with that crime so the issue as to whether the charges were proper or whether evidence exists to support a conviction are what matters most. You need a lawyer to help navigate this terrain.See question

A nolle prosequi is a decision by the State to not proceed. Technically speaking, YES, the charges could be filed again. Were you represented by an Attorney at the trial ? Did the attorney advise the Court that you wish for your right to a speedy trial to be noted ? Did you seek to have the charges expunged ?
The State tell the Judge that they are entering a Nolle Prosequi and there is nothing a Judge can do about that. I would get a copy of the court trial CD because sometimes the State will say 'we are entering a nolle prosequi due to lack of evidence, or, blah blah blah"
Depending on when the allegations took place are also a factor which is why I referenced speedy trial above.
Unfortunately, you can not stop someone from filing false charges, but, I would make sure you check the Maryland Judiciary Case Search to see if new charges show up so you can react as soon as possible. I highly recommend you call an attorney if that happens.See question
I got a domestic charge from my college which is now dropped and the charge is being expunged but it takes 90 days and I want to return to school in the spring but I am nervous .
Until it is expunged, it will show on your record. As the expungement process runs its course you will receive certificates from various agencies that has complied with the Court's order to expunge records.
I can say that if you were charged, but charges were dropped, that too will show up, so, it does put things in perspective. Many folks are charged unfairly or without solid evidence. The fact it was dropped carries a lot of weight if the person reviewing your record knows what to look for.

Based on the exact language of your questions, you have in fact been charged with a crime that was not a dismissal or acquittal. I would consult with an employment attorney, but, the answer to the question on the application, technically, is YES.See question
