We hired Stephen H Sacks in 2007 and i can say that he is one of the worst attorneys you could find. He does not follow any the rules of professional conduct of the bar association. He failed on multiple grounds. Not only he performed poorly but he kept asking for funds beyond the signed contract. We ended up paying more than double the agreed amount. He is extremely dishonest and has only one motive making money off people. He doesn't return phone calls,…after he takes your money he is almost impossible to be found.

I utilized Mr. Sacks legal services in 2006 & he is the worst attorney I have ever come across. He does fight to defend his client. This was my first offense & I was given a harsh punishment partly because of the poor & what seemed like lack of legal representation. My legal exceeded $5,000 & his representation wasn't worth one cent. To anyone thinking hiring him as defense attorney, do yourself a favor & find someone as I wouldn't refer him to a dog. Outside of his poor legal representation, during the time of this case, my family questioned if he was using drugs ....

We hired him as a immigration and criminal lawyer he did nothing for our case and payed over $15,000. My fiancé was ordered deported, he lied to us and the immigration judge, never gave us any copies of paper work. This lawyer will take your money and don't care about you, he will talk a good game just to get paid in full. The judges don't like him, he have been getting fired from almost all of his clients do to his negligence. Now we have to start all over because of him and he's not returning any calls nor releasing our file.

I wrongfully hired this attorney to represent my husband. We are from NY and the incident took place in Maryland. Desperate to resolve the issue we took his services on an attorney's referral from NY. Mr. Sacks would never return our calls, his assistant always had our information wrong- We tried working with him for 2 weeks when we then realized he was not getting anything done to solve our case. (We called all the court clerks to see if paperwork was filed and nothing)- In the end We paid him $1,500 to represent the entire case from beginning to end and he didn't do anything and refused to pay us our money back. I ended up finding another attorney who took care of the matter - got the case dismissed and my husband MD arrest expunged off his record.
