I have employed over 5 attorneys in my life and interacted with many more. Maria Caruso was the least effective attorney I have ever used. I retained her for my divorce. She did not use my retainer money in a cost effective manner, she was very reactive and did not aggressively advocate for me. She failed to thoroughly explain legal terms and consequences of decisions I was required to make.

Maria is a very nice lady...but she is incompetent and undependable. I voiced my concerns about the lack of progress on my case and she strung me along until my retainer was gone and then dropped my case.
