I started working with Kristina after a pretty bad experience with Jessica Kern and Shelly McKeon from the McKeon Law Firm. During my first meeting with Kristina it was clear she works differently. Before we got into legal options, she took the time to really understand what happened during my marriage and what led to the divorce. Straight questions and an honest conversation to really understand the background. That allowed her to build a case and to give me a pretty good idea of what is going to happen at every step. There is no attorney that can guarantee results but Kristina was pretty good in laying out options and typical results so I can make an informed decision. I highly recommend her for anything from simple to more complicated cases. Quite a few lawyers will respond to your inquiries on time (not all) and so did Kristina. But more importantly there was substance to her communication. She come up with options and not just responded to my questions. She was very proactive in looking for alternative approaches and ways to close the case as soon as possible with the best outcome as possible. If you want more than just a lawyer that drafts papers, if you really want a lawyer that drives your case, you absolutely have to get Kristina. And don’t compare hourly rates. Kristina is very efficient and every time I looked at the bill, I could easily link the billed hours to some valuable input I got from her. From previously working with other attorneys, I can tell you that the total cost of the engagement was less and with significantly more results.

Kristina worked with me to understand the background for my case, pull together necessary documents, correspond with the other side, file motions, and prepare me for trial. She presented me with options and gave advice. She worked with Bryan Renehan to win my case.

Kristina Badalian is a very smart, hard working young lawyer with great judgement and knowledge of the law. It has been a pleasure working with Kristina and her firm for the past 5 years. She and Carlos Lastra were a great team and did a wonderful job in representing, fighting and winning for me. Kristina was always in contact with me updating me about what was going on at all times. She was excellent in advising me, preparing the necessary documents, taking depositions and cross examination of witnesses. She is very easy to deal with, very polite, yet very firm and cannot be pushed around by opposing council. I witnessed that in many occasions and was very impressed. She had this reassuring and calming effect on me. I think Kristina Badalian is on her way to being one of the best family law attorneys in the area, and I highly recommend her to anyone who needs a great lawyer.

The case wherein Ms. Badalian was counsel was unusually complex, involving financial matters, tax issues, fraud, criminal conduct, FBI investigations, child custody issues, multiple parties, numerous related suits and was highly contentious. Ms. Badalian was effcient and focused with strong communication skills and maintained an even and calming demenor at all times. Able to easily and effectively present solutions and/or decision making options to multiple parties that had large discrepancies as to experience/understanding of the issues at hand. Ms. Badalian is a highly skilled lawyer who had a complete comand of complex facts. Presentation at trial was not only well done, but outstanding (as noted by the Judge.) Most importantly, the goals as stated prior to trial were achieved - the case was won.

I never, ever, imagined my marriage not being until death do us part. Yet, 5 months after sinking our life savings into the purchase of a new home and 2 months after my father tragically passed, my wife hit me with the unexpected news that she was leaving. The separation, and eventual divorce, took many turns (in terms of discoveries, emotions, etc.) that I am not going to go into here, but there was always one constant, one stabilizing force through it all - my legal representation. From Day 1, Kristina and Mr. Pearlstein allowed me to vent when I needed to; helped me focus when I needed to; and provided me with an intangible feeling of comfort - because while the rest of my world was crashing I knew they had my best interest at heart and sincerely wanted to help me get through the divorce and on with my life. The legal advice was superb and they were flexible and focused on achieving the outcomes I needed and wanted. I hope to never go through a divorce again, but if I do - or if any of my friends do - there is no doubt who I will seek to represent me.

Working with Ms Badalyan and her colleagues at Brodsky, Renehan, Pearlstein, Lastra & Bouquet was an exceptional experience. No one wants to go through a divorce, or be in a conflictual situation, especially when it comes to support for your children. I, personally, am an avoider of conflict and often time make decision based on other people's feelings. Ms Badalyan was fabulous in helping me understand that I have feelings and responsibilities, atoo, and those are just as important as others. My wanting to provide for my children in the same manner of which they were accustomed, was something she helped me fight for. She was compassionate, yet factual;empathetic, yet firm; and made sure I understood exactly what was going on every step of the way. Legalese is not my language and Ms Badaylan's patience helping me understand what I was reading, made me confident what I was signing. I would highly recommend Ms. Badalyan and her firm to anyone in the need of a family lawyer.
